Excellent from start to finish
This holiday was the third of my visits to a Details Hotel in Carvoeiro and lived up to the high expectations of the other two visits. Staff were very personable and attentive, the townhouses are well laid out and furnished. Breakfast had lots of choice everyday and was never too busy- and no sunbed wars in sight at the swimming pool either.

Highly recommend!
We visited for 4 nights at the beginning of June. I travelled with my daughters who are 15 and 12. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas. We loved everything about this place. The villa was beautiful. With a patio on the ground floor and a balcony off the main bedroom upstairs. Very comfortable indeed. There are even electric outside blackout blinds to block the light from waking you in the morning. We added breakfast on arrival and this did not disappoint. A great selection of very good quality food including homemade butters and yogurts. Something for everyone was on offer. The staff were incredibly helpful at all times. Always someone to answer your questions via WhatsApp. We got around by Uber. Cheap and took minutes for one to arrive. There is a small supermarket up the road for basics too. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back at some point.

Exceeded expectations!
We are a family travelling with three teenagers and a younger boy. Six of us in total. I cannot say enough good things about Vale Da Lapa. We booked a three bed villa with a private pool. Absolutely amazing. So much space for everyone which is what you need for teenagers. The decor and accommodation is first class- spotlessly clean and very modern. The Villa is so well laid out. And nothing is a problem for the staff. We arrived extremely early the day of check in and we were able to use all of the facilities for the whole day before check in. The main resort pool is gorgeous and you’ll easily spend the day there. The Villa’s private pool and garden is even better than we had imagined. For anyone travelling with older kids- if a Villa with pool is available it’s definitely worth booking!

Amazing stay
Had 10 night stay here, loved it. Peaceful grounds, large villas and friendly staff. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our time staying here, short taxi into town centre. Will be back :) !
Beautiful resort in fabulous area
We are at the very end of a fabulous two weeks at Vale da Lapa. The resort is beautiful and our villa exceeded our expectations. So clean and has everything we need and more. Pool is quiet (minus our 3 noisy kids) and the staff are lovely and so helpful. Food has been delicious and excellent quality. Big shout out to Peres and Rui in the restaurant for their care and attentiveness - we truly feel spoiled here. We enjoyed walking down to Carvoeiro to the beach, boat/pedalo trips and the best ice cream shop! Kids loved Slide and Splash and been easy to get Ubers, even with 5 of us.
