Pestana review
We decided here late because we had no other plans. We came with an open mind however the hotel is absolutely horrible. Firstly we come in and no one comes to get your bags you have to do it yourself. This is insane considering it is a five star hotel. Then the rooms are horrible. The bathrooms are super dirty, beds not comfortable what so ever. The doors are all broken and not clean. The food is average and the pool shown in the images doesn’t appear. This is our first night and already have complaints. I repeat this is not a five star hotel at most it is a three star and that is already too much if I am being honest. Too expensive for this type of service. Never booking again with the pestana group. My father deserves a refund of his money. Hair is everywhere in the bathroom not clean at all.

my experience was incredible, the people from animation are incredible, the karaoke night was very fun, the activities during the day were great.
Holiday in family
Awesome experience in this hotel. The animation team is incredible, with a lot of activities for the adults and for the kids. The kids club have several activities for the kids, along the day. Full recommended!

Fantastic Hotel ❤️
We are just about to leave after the most incredible holiday, we couldn’t have wished for anything more. We loved the food, having breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks inside the hotel all day. We have been Alvor for years therefore made the most of the time in the town having dinner every evening we were here at the local restaurants but not because we weren’t happy with the food at the hotel, it was purely based on experience. It is our first time in the hotel and we are already planning to come back next year with the rest of our immediate family as we are so happy with our stay!
The animation team were fantastic, we actually thought we wouldn’t want this during the day but the times the music wasn’t on or the entertainment we missed it so much, all of the team are fantastic, so much fun and so friendly!
Sunbeds are absolutely not an issue either, for the first year at an all inclusive hotel after staying in other hotels in other countries where it was a fight for the beds, this hotel is very different everybody has a very kind and relaxed attitude and there’s plenty to go around, even as a family of four!
We absolutely can not wait to come back next year ❤️
