With its convenient location in Alvor, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations, making it an ideal starting point for excursions in this lively area. There are shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants in the vicinity and the hotel is 900 metres from the beach. Public transportation links can be found 300 m from the hotel. The historical centre of Alvôr is just a 10-minute walk away and the shops and cafés of Portimão are 4.5 km away. Guests will find at their arrival in the apartment the entertainment programme which includes a wide range of activities for adults and children such as swimming-pool games, quizzes, snooker, football, tennis, table tennis, darts, baseball, barbecues and others. In the bar a different show every night takes place. Live music, karaoke, parrots shows, quizz games, capoeira (brazilian dance). Information leaflets from several entertainment companies can be found at the reception. There are studio apartments and also 1, 2, or 3 apartments with comfortable bedrooms. All the accomodation has telephone, safe and livingroom with air conditioning and satellite TV. There is a pleasant restaurant next to the swimming-pool. The guests have the option to have breakfast or half-board with a delicious buffet cooked by the chef.

Arrived very late, guy on reception really helpful, got to apartment block, was greeted by bikes chained to stairs, dog kennels outside apartment doors, horrendous view of discarded rubbish, cleaners came in last day and emptied kitchen bin, all reception and bar staff were friendly.

pool areas are good plenty of sunbeds etc however I stayed for 1 week and my apartment was only cleaned once , I had to ask for it to happen, no Internet and TV didn't work . I will not be returning.
Not Good place is stuck in the 70s
Not great. Arrive to a reception that was musty and smelt of stale smoke. Its so dated even the furniture is discoloured. Dial up internet.Rooms are spacious but the walls are like paper you hear everything like its in the room with you.Could not get a night's sleep at all. So many shutters on the windows, you can see straight into everybody's apartments. Toilet smelt of stale urine the whole time, plastic cisterne . No cleaning service at all for a 5 day stay! Had to go ask at reception for clean towels told not available 😒 asked for toilet roll and given a previously used roll a day later. Furniture is as uncomfortable as it looks. One sheet on the bed. Turned of the air con and the system on our smallest balcony ever leaks. Bathroom was falling apart, broken glass shelf Dangerous. There are No lifts but steps everywhere. Ypu have to climb alot of steps to get up to the pool. Food was indistinguishable, boiled rice boiled spaghetti no sauces. 3 choices always cold. Pool was nice except beds are knackered 3 broke on guests in the time we were there. Local kids come in after school which is annoying, splashing and making noise. Ants all around the pool area crawling up you as you sunbathe. Staff stand under the pool area smoking so you constantly get bombarded with it, very unpleasent. Overall place needs leveled as it has NO disability access whatsoever! No access to the rooms or pool if you are in a wheelchair or immobile. Place is stuck in the. 70s.

I visited as a solo traveller mid May for a quick week away. Yes very dated but in a good way. You might even say Traditional. Helpful friendly staff . Super clean spacious Cool rooms Separate living room , full kitchen, balcony . Great location easy walk into town or to the beach free parking All of the shared facilities have been upgraded and updated since our last visit five years ago. If you want 5 star ( we have also stayed at Tivoli and several of the Pestana's for other reasons eg to celebrate family occasions ) then by all means go ahead and pay those prices.
