Another great stay!
This was our second year staying here, and once again, it had everything we needed for a great stay.
The main benefit for us is the location. It’s just a 5-minute walk into the main town of Alvor, with all the restaurants and bars on your doorstep. This suits us perfectly!
The rooms are adequate and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning works really well, which is definitely appreciated! Storage is a little limited, but we managed to make it work.
The staff are fantastic and genuinely can’t do enough for you. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast once again had everything you could need, with both hot and cold options, as well as fruit, granola, yoghurts and more. The pastries deserve a special mention — absolutely fantastic! The pastry chef is clearly very talented!
The pool is on the smaller side, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Sun loungers were always available whenever we wanted one, even throughout the day.
We also used the pool and snack bar, and again, couldn’t fault either. The toasties were a particular hit!
Overall, another great stay for the price and location in Alvor. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here.
We’re already looking at booking for next year! 😊

A great place to stay
Over the moon with this hotel. Staff were simply amazing and room was on the whole very nice. Honestly, there were some members of staff who just couldn't help enough and were a real pleasure to meet
Two minor issues were the bathroom needs a bit of maintance work and you really need to deal with the people who leave towels on the loungers by the pool. I understand it's difficult, but you say you ask guests to remove them, but they were left for hours which meant not being able to use the pool area.
I should also say that it's nicely located, just a 5 minute walk from the town. That means you don't here any noise but so easy to just walk in. Also has a great size car park
I'd definitely stay here again

I never really do reviews but I felt i needed people especially with families to be aware of some issues we had with this hotel. Firstly with regards to the staff and cleaniness of the hotel we had no fault the staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless cleaned daily and the location of the hotel was great ( it saved our holidays!)How and ever I would not recommend the hotel for families especially teenagers the pool and pool area are small the pool itself was only 1.4m in dept not ideal for swimmers and there was a lack of sunloungers we found the pool area to be dirty and the pool itself was "cloudy" and cold i personally did not get into the pool and my teens had no desire to use it either. We spent quite a few days at the beach for this reason. None of use liked the breakfast that we paid for very basic and unappealing looking. However the pool bar provided lovely snacks such as toasties pizza fish ect. and very reasonably priced we ate lunch there most days. Note the pool bar closed at 6pm daily. There was only a tiny bar in the reception area in the hotel and only offered a small selection of drinks. The hotel foyer is very small so nowhere really to relax and enjoy a drink. There are no facilities for children or teenagers at all which was a big let down for us especially given the amount of money we spent to stay here. The only thing that saved us was the location the teens could walk down to the village and walk around to pass the day and it was definitely safe to let them do so. Overall the hotel was not value for money.Very disappointed

Not good enough
The location of this hotel is the only plus point, situated only a 5 minute walk from the main strip, water front and another short stroll to the beach.
It's marketed as a 4 star hotel, which it is not but might have been when first built many years ago. It is tired and dated throughout, lacks atmosphere and has very basic amenities.
The entrance is up a flight if stairs or via a one-man external lift. The front door is manual and we struggled with our cases getting in. The reception staff offered us no assistance at all.
The reception area is lifeless, offering a basic seating area, well worn books and a dire bar.
After booking in, we were again offered no assistance by the staff getting to our room which we arrived at by a darkly lit corridor via a large fire door.
On entering the room, I immediately let out a few expletives as I surveyed our surroundings. The bedroom small and uninviting; the smallest balcony imaginable which overlooked a public car park, the kitchen was adequate, TV tiny. But the biggest problem was the bathroom which had been designed for disabled guests and left us feeling uncomfortable.
We had actually already upgraded via the Jet2 website so were massively disappointed in what we were allocated but reception informed me they had no alternatives to offer.
Because we were there for 11 nights we wanted something a little more comfortable and accommodating.
Breakfast was a continuous scenario of bland offerings. Hard and dry poached eggs were a particular favourite but to be served the same items day after day was depressing.
The pool area was acceptable but you have to enter via a shower enclosure which was not always appropriate and on occasion there were not enough sun loungers for all the guests.
All-in-all we were extremely disappointed in this hotel for the length of time we stayed and the money spent which included the upgrade.
If visiting this area we would recommend many other much more modern hotels and apartments.

Great hotel
Just back from ten days with my daughter ..... great place to stay ..... location ideal as literally a three min walk to centre of alvor .... great supermarket 2mins away Hotel itself is very clean and most of staff super friendly and helpful ....... pool bar serves tasty snacks ...... We had a studio room which was perfect for us ........ my only issue would be with the room towels ....... theres not enough of them especially when sharing a room with teen who needs them ALL !!!!! 😂 Overall a great stay and hope to revisit again !!!!!!!
