Wonderful beaches such as Praia de Oura, Praia da Santa Eulália or Praia dos Pescadores are within easy reach, Albufeira Marina, ZooMarine and Algarve Shopping Center are just a short drive away. The city centre with its large variety of restaurants, bars, pubs and shops and the Continente Shopping Center are within minutes. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, about 40 km from the property. Each guest room is bright and spacious equipped with air conditioning, hair dryer, dining area, satellite TV, phone line, safe deposit box, bath amenities and fully-equipped kitchen. Very good experience at this hotel. The apartment was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Don’t really understand the rule of food and drink not bought from the bar not being allowed around the pool, this is the only issue that may stop us from staying again. Other that than, a very good, affordable place to stay and good location

Clean hotel & friendly staff. Great location.
Location was perfectly distanced between Old and New Town. €5 was the regular cost to get to either location. Taxi rank outside Albufeira Terrace shopping complex is also convenient. The Continente supermarket is located within the Terrace which helped when I needed more coffee pods for the room coffee machine. Fridge was ample for storing extra drinks and eggs for breakfast. Recommend the pastelaria at the corner opposite the Terrace - Malinera (?). The Net@Cafe is handy for snacks (opp Brisa Sol hotel). Accommodation was clean and staff were helpful.
Old Town had more interesting vibe than New Town - having more restaurants and shops to look at, plus the Fisherman’s Beach was so large, it never felt crowded. New Town was one of the more fun nights due to the karaoke and more affordable beer - happy hour goes to 9pm €3.50 for a large beer. Texas Grill in New Town do a sharing platter for 2 = €48 in total. More than enough for two people.
Poolside was easy to get sunbeds. Pool is not heated so keep moving to keep warm.
Overall, a lovely relaxing place to enjoy sun in October.
I Look Forward to Returning
Very friendly staff in the reception when checking in and the bar/pool area. Cleaning staff always had a smile and hello when met in the corridors. Hotel is very clean, was very impressed with my room. Breakfast each morning was super, no complaints there. Fresh food/pastries/bread - there was never any food left on my plate! Ideally located, only a few minutes walk from the escalators to old town so you never heard any noise from it. Supposedly only a few minutes from new town also but I didn't check it out on this visit. Pool was clean and easy to get a lounge any time of the day. I will definitely book this hotel again when I go back with a group of friends. Great value for money booking this hotel. Nice atmosphere around the hotel.

Good hotel good location
The Navigator – Albufeira
Just got back from 4 nights here with the lads.
I’ll be honest, after reading some of the previous reviews I was starting to panic a bit 😂 but it actually wasn’t bad at all.
The rooms were a decent size and were cleaned every single day, so no complaints there. The pool area was pretty good too, a decent size and plenty of room around it.
Location was decent as well. You can walk to both the Old Town and New Town, although we ended up getting Ubers quite a lot as they were really cheap anyway.
The only downside was not being able to snag a late checkout; they claimed the hotel was fully booked, but I’m pretty sure they just wanted us to pay for an entire extra night.
Great hotel
Amazing hotel. We had a brilliant stay. Hotel was lovely and clean, plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas. Staff were all very polite and bar staff made great cocktails. Breakfast was nice with good selection. Rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Sofa bed in living room was comfy enough for an adult. Great location 20 mins walk from old town, 5 minutes walk to shopping mall/supermarket. Would definitely come again. Really good value
