Lovely Hotel
Just returned from a fabulous two weeks at this hotel. We where welcomed by very friendly reception staff. And then went to our room 417 it was fabulous and what a view we had from our balcony! The breakfast was excellent so much chooice would suit everyone. Again staff where lovely. Loved going for a swim everyday in the main pool. Not knowing the names of all the receptionists who who so kind and helpful durring our stay Thank You.

Pleasant hotel with a nice atmosphere
Nice hotel, rooms are spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds and there was no noise from other rooms. The breakfast buffet was pretty basic and was the same options for all 3 of the mornings we were there but everything was always hot and fresh. We only had lunch once at the hotel, the quality was good but it took 30 minutes for them to bring a couple of ham and cheese toasties. The terrace bar is a nice setting but the staff can be pretty slow. Pool areas are really nice, it's a built up area so you do have to chase the sun round a bit but there is always a spot and we never had an issue getting sun beds. The hotel will provide towels too. It's equal distance to the new town strip and the old town, (20 minute walk) going is easy as it's down hill but coming back a taxi is better, was about 6e. There is a shuttle bus however this doesn't run on a Saturday or Sunday which seems strange when a lot of the guests are there for long weekends. All in all we would come back.

Corridors act like an amphitheatre.
A nice enough hotel. We arrived early and were told the rooms wouldn’t be ready till after 3 pm which was fine however over two hours later we’re still waiting to get into our room. The room is nice and spacious. However the corridors on your floor act similar to an amphitheatre, the slightest sound echos through the corridors, peoples doors closing will wake you sharply out of your sleep. At one point, someone was in the corridor sneezing and that was so loud you could hear every sneeze. I don’t even think earplugs would help. In the morning breakfast, you go to the restaurant and there’s a sign asking you to wait for a member of staff. After waiting for 10 minutes and no one appearing, you just go and sit down anyway. There is a very good variety to choose from so no complaints there.
All in all, the hotel is pretty decent with the only very big issue of the noisy corridors at night and in the morning. That’s why I give it a three.

Solo Albufeira trip
Recently stayed 4 nights solo at this hotel. Can’t fault the cleanliness of the hotel, rooms are lovely and big (beds are huge!!) and have all the amenities you could need inc iron, kettle, mini fridge and hairdryer etc plus toiletries inc shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion etc in pump bottles. Hotel is in a residential area up a hill- Theres a shuttle bus that runs mon-Friday from approx 10am-6pm ish which takes you to the old town, new town and also at a stop a 10 min walk away from Santa Eulália beach (outside the hotels sister hotel). Taxis are super cheaper and approx 5euro. Unfortunately the reason I can only give this hotel 3/5 is due to the F&B area being a huge disappointment. The food choices were very limited at both breakfast & dinner especially. 2/4 nights the board in reception which advertised what was on the menu didn’t match downstairs once you got to the restaurant, this made an impact to what I did with my evenings as I would choose to eat out depending on what the menu was. Pretty disappointing when you get to the restaurant and what you decided to stay for didn’t match. Ie advertising on the board that you could choose your main from The Half board menu and then finding out it was actually buffet that evening (2 fish choices and 1 sliced pork option stuffed with a bit of sausage). Also the service was incredibly slow from the bar areas. When I arrived I couldn’t check in so went for lunch (a toastie). There was 1 other table ordering lunch however my toastie took over 30 minutes to arrive. There appeared to be 0 urgency from anyone behind the bar and even in the restaurant they appeared to not want to really be there. It’s a real shame as this hotel is very clean and a great base

A lovely stay with a few areas to improve!
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There are three pools, with plenty of sunbeds available, so there was always lots of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
The restaurant is large and offers a good selection for breakfast, with plenty of choice to suit different tastes.
The location is also great! It’s within a short walking distance of both the old town and the new town. The hotel also offers a free bus service from Monday to Friday, which drops you off at both areas. We’d also highly recommend taking a tuk-tuk if you fancy a bit of fun! They’re cheap, cheerful and a great way to get around.
There were just a couple of areas that could be improved. We ordered mango smoothies at the bar on three separate occasions, and each time we seemed to receive a different drink, depending on which staff member served us. It would be great to have a little more consistency with the drinks.
The majority of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. However, unfortunately, we did encounter one member of the bar staff who came across as quite unwelcoming and could have shown better customer service.
Despite these minor issues, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the hotel’s facilities, location and overall atmosphere. With a few small improvements, it would be even better. 😊
