Also, guests can hire a bicycle, enjoy Internet access and room and laundry services. The elegant rooms are equipped with all the electrical appliances required for a comfortable stay, and some have access to a porch or balcony overlooking the green gardens of the Falésia Porto Bay.

Great hotel with beautiful facilities and views of the sea. Location is not particularly good if you want lots of shops and restaurants close by
Lovely hotel with stunning views
Stayed in this hotel for a week with glorious weather, wonderful views and beautiful gardens with plenty of secluded spots to enjoy sun or shade on several decking areas. The stunning Falesia beach is via 126 wooden steps but actually wasn’t too bad on the way up as there are a couple of benches to stop for a rest. You access the steps through the hotel gardens by pressing a button on the side but to get back in you have to use your room key card. The hotel is run very efficiently with friendly, polite and helpful staff everywhere. The room was very comfortable with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The only thing I would have liked to see was an iron and ironing board, although you could borrow a steamer which I decided against. The Italian restaurant which is on site was very good and we used twice. You can also use the facilities at the PortoBay hotel next door via a walkway where they have a French restaurant which we also used twice. We went to the buffet in the hotel one evening which was fine but I prefer to be waited on! The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice but could be rather crowded at times. The evening entertainment was mixed but was still nice to relax after a lovely meal. I understand the hotel is going to be renovated during the winter as it’s a bit old fashioned but perfectly clean and comfortable.

Serene and beautiful .
Had a lovely time at this hotel. Incredibly peaceful. Ages ranged from mid 30s to 80s. If you wanted lively entertainment next door, Portobay blue which is lovely is livelier so you can use there as is part of same group. Also the restaurants too. Staff were all lovel. Food is good quality and different selection each day for dinner. The terrace restaurant gets booked up for evenings so book as soon as you get there. We also ate at the restaurant at Portobay Blue where the food was gorgeous. We didnt bother going to town as this was a chill holiday although we did do a couple of jeep trips which were fun. Hotel could do with buggy carts to take people down to beach as its over 120 steps. However the views from the hotel are stunning so not really necessary to go to beach.

Great week away
Late September and superb weather made this a good break beforoe winter sets in! Breakfasts were superb and the Basilico service as a sgood as it gets!

Feels like going home again.
Returned once again to this lovely place. Hotel is showing some age but updates are coming we're told and staff work hard to keep the aging from effecting our stay. Like most service businesses, it is the people that make this place special and it is great to return and see the same great staff hard at work. The dinner buffet has improved significantly from 2025 but could improve more. Breakfast and lunch are fine.
