This attractive hotel enjoys a wonderful location, on a hill overlooking the sea. Guests may easily access the beach down a flight of steps to the long, sandy beach. The centre of Albufeira is a 10-minute walk away and offers plenty of shopping and entertainment opportunities. The nearest airport is 32 km away and local public transport departs from directly in front of the hotel.
The 5-storey hotel was built in 1990, completely renovated in 1999 and includes a total of 115 rooms, of which 6 are singles, 104 are doubles and 5 are suites. Guests are offered a spacious lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk, a conference room and a 24-hour reception. It also has a café, a bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for younger guests. Room and laundry services are, additionally, at guests' disposal, as well as the car park for those arriving by car.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and are equipped with their own bathroom with a hairdryer. They are also equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar, balcony or terrace with a sea or a land view and a safe.
The hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool with saltwater (a bathing cap is compulsory) and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. In addition, it has a varied, seasonal entertainment programme.
A breakfast buffet is available every morning. In the evenings guests may dine à la carte or chose from the set menu.

This is a superb hotel with the highest standards of Service , Cleanliness , Maintenance and Hospitality
It’s a great place to base your holiday from as it offers a quiet and relaxed environment whilst being only a 10 minute walk ( or taxi for less than €5 ) to the bustling centre of Albufeira
It has its own private access to the beach ( not suitable for infirm or disabled guests with two beach beds and parasols available to rent for €15 per day and there is a hotel toilet and shower at the entrance to the beach steps which is very handy
There is a great beach bar available for food drinks and ice creams etc but this is not part of the hotel
This is a brilliant hotel and not to be missed

I knew I was going to enjoy being in this hotel as soon as I walked through the doors. I was met with such a wonderful atmosphere and the most professional and helpful reception. We were shown to our rooms and were greatly suprised by how clean and spacious they were. The staff in the restaurants and bar were immaculate and always there to help and have great personalities, oh and the food ….we were half board the menu was plentiful and the food was delicious. We spoke with our hosts who made us feel that we were part of the family with genuine pleasure for us to staying with them. My Dad had previously stayed in this Hotel and waxed lyrical on how amazing this was and believe me he isn’t the kind of person to revisit holidays we have booked again for May 2027 so this will be his third time. I am disabled but being here at the hotel they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and not patronising but gave me support if I needed it which to me makes whole lot of difference. The whole atmosphere and location is lovely on leaving we were seen off by our hosts who presented me with gift which I will treasure. I am counting the days until I return to what is a Portuguese Jewel . See you next May 2027!

Wonderful Stay!
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Alisios and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Albufeira.
The location is ideal, with easy walking access to both the Old Town and the New Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the area while still enjoying a peaceful beachfront setting. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and a great start to each day.
What truly made our stay special was the outstanding customer service. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. A special thank you to the front desk team and wait staff, who went above and beyond to help celebrate my best friend's 40th birthday. They surprised her with a small cake and a thoughtful gift, which was such a wonderful and unexpected gesture that made her day even more memorable.
The only minor drawback was that we found the beds to be quite firm. However, the hotel does have mattress toppers available, which made a bit of a difference.
Overall, Hotel Alisios exceeded our expectations with its excellent location, delicious breakfast, and exceptional staff. We would happily stay here again!

An Algarve paradise...
Hotel Alisios is a dream come true...I had a wonderful two weeks filled with nothing but joy. I'm already making plans to come back, I miss it so much.
The hotel is situated just 10 minutes walk away from the Old Town, where you can find a myriad of restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
The location of the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, so if you want some hustle and bustle, just pop into the Old Town, there is something for everyone there.
There is a lovely bar in the hotel if you don't want to go out at night, and entertainment is provided a couple of nights a week.
The beach is a short walk down, as the hotel is built into a cliff face. The sea is cold, but just beautiful. You can choose to pay a daily fee to use the sunbeds on the beach, or just relax on the terrace at the hotel, with stunning views of the sea, which is what I chose to do everyday.
I'd definitely recommend having dinner in the hotel. The views are stunning and the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely try the almond parfait on the dessert menu, it's been on the menu for 20 years 😀
Everyone in the hotel is friendly and smiling, from the reception staff to the lovely cleaning staff.
I do have to send particular thanks to Emanuele and Michelly in the Terrace Bar, who made everyday a pure joy.
But my biggest thanks has to go to Américo, also from the Terrace. One of the most professional, friendly and attentive members of staff I've ever had the pleasure to meet, anywhere. I mentioned that I was teaching myself Portuguese, and during my entire stay, he spoke nothing but Portuguese to me and made sure to correct me if I made any mistakes; and always with a smile 😀 And I can say that two weeks later, I'm now having full conversations in Portuguese, which I didn't think would be possible before I left London. He is a true asset to the hotel, and I'm truly grateful for the help and time he gave me.
To all the Hotel Alisios team, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful two weeks. I look forward to seeing you again very soon.
