Very good hotel, great Italian restaurant
Very nice hotel, great Italian restaurant, nice bar. Good breakfast. Spacious room (not very cosy colours) and good size terrace. Location is simply good. Overall very good stay, will go back for sure.

Paradise with a few bumps
The grounds are absolutely stunning and makes the hotel worth a try even though we had issues.
Our room was warm and stuffy despite humidifier. The bathroom needed more attention to cleanliness. The tile in the shower lifts so be careful.
The beach is beautiful and requires you to take 100 or so steps but very worth it. Please note it cost $50 euros for chairs.
The breakfast is amazing!
Skip the Japanese restaurant..overpriced. Excellent options right across the street in the shopping center.
The bar was fabulous with a beautiful cosmo with bubbles and great music.
The spa wellness area is definitely a bonus but depends on your room type as to whether there is a fee.

Great Resort in the Algarve
We stayed here for three nights in late September. It is a sprawling resort with very nice pools and a fabulous beach. The beach is down a bunch of stairs but it is truly unforgettable. We had a surprisingly great lunch at the pool bar/restaurant; the Portuguese steak sandwich was out of this world. We had a very good dinner at the Italian restaurant. One night we walked across the street, found a good restaurant and had a very nice meal, a little more low-key than the resort restaurants. The breakfasts were very good. The front desk and reception area were very well run, excellent hospitality.

Brilliant hotel
Brilliant hotel, great friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, the gorgeous beach is a descent of a hundred or so steps. Marcio on the beach is hardworking, friendly and helpful

A beautiful property with amazing staff. Room was lovely and spacious, bright and sunny. Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Restaurants (the Michelin-starred restaurant and the Italian) were amazing. Went out to a restaurant in town one night, which the concierge set up for us, and we were floored by that place as well. The beach is a bit of a hike with lots of steps, but quite beautiful. Service at the pools was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend.
