Characterised by its fantastic atmosphere, this club resort has been carefully conceived to bring guests a range of amenities and comforts designed to make a truly memorable experience. Built and renovated recently, the complex has a restaurant where people can enjoy the delight dishes served, a luxury spa to keep the wellness culture of the guests health interest and several stylish rooms with excellent provision for whole family. It's fantastic relaxing experience, Tatiana was gentle and sweet and help with sunburn a lot. Cleen rooms, excellent service.
Great, a bit far from town.
The hotel is a bit isolated, so shpping and other things need a bit of a walk or shuttle/taxi. Th food is nice. A bit of a gap in service between lunch and dinner. Rooms are clean, service is very friendly, yet professional. The spa was an absolutely fantastic experience. Tanya made me feel at ease, and she has truly magical hands.
Amazing family holiday!
We had a wonderful family holiday at Eden Villas and apartments. It was our first time visiting Portugal and we were so impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone both on/off the resort are.
The resort itself was very family friendly, we loved the villa/apartment concept and enjoyed a one bedroom apartment as a family of four. We had plenty of space and the sofa bed is made into two single beds (so ours daughters weren’t squished together). We had a small issue with ants but this was resolved. Everywhere was very clean and tidy.
The staff are especially efficient around the pools/restaurants when clearing away empties and keeping everywhere clean.
We were very impressed with the quality of food and choices available. With two very fussy eaters this was very important to us. The pool/snack bar had a great selection of sandwiches, wraps, fruit, desserts from 11am. And then from 12:30pm they had hot food - chips, pizza, nuggets, chicken kebabs, burgers. Which meant we never had to worry if the kids weren’t hungry at dinner. Equally, the buffet always had pizza, chips, pasta available. Self service hot/soft drinks and juices meant you could get a drink quickly, and the pool bar staff were so friendly. Often remembering which drink we preferred! A fab range of cocktails/mocktails and beer/sangria on tap too.
The afternoon entertainment around the pool gave a great atmosphere. And our kids thoroughly enjoyed the kids club situated next to the pool area. This was our first time using a kids club service and it was really reassuring how they kept them secure and entertained. With the option of them being able to leave independently or only if signed out.
The evening entertainment was varied and not in one particular area. We had a fire show around the pool, kids party/magic show in the circus tent and live music in the bar.
Our only criticism was the lack of sunbeds around the pool. This encouraged the typical sunbed wars and the need to reserve them or be without. Towels were left on empty loungers sometimes all day. There is a quiet pool in a separate area, which if made family friendly could help. The kids splash pool was excellent and lots of fun for both young and older kids. This also had a bar! If this had sun loungers instead of tables/chairs this would be helpful too.
We had a wonderful family holiday at Eden Villas, and fell in love with Portugal. If you enjoy a quiet family holiday that’s accessible to a local town (5 minute uber) then definitely consider here.
We also thoroughly enjoyed our boat excursion to see the dolphins/caves - and were lucky enough to see Orcas! This was booked with Xride. Highly recommend.
