Check into this complex and count on modern comfort and a friendly welcome.
Our second visit, having first stayed 3 years ago . Just as lovely as we remember it. Spotlessly clean, fantastic food and drink and great family entertainment until after 10pm. There are no hidden extras, Even things like evening popcorn and raffle are included. This was a big plus. The only time you might need to put hand in pocket is if external vendors come to the venue, but totally optional. My Kids (7 and 12) made lots of friends
Food options were very fresh and varied. Always something delicious to eat. Also cocktail of the day always delicious. Never had to wait long for bar service , plenty of staff. I would be delighted to see more vegan sweet options but the savoury accommodates for every requirement .
Kids club does up to 8 years- it is an excellent facility and very secure and with a really good schedule of activities. It would be nice if they extended some activities to older kids eg pizza making. Teen club is for 8-15 and the schedule quite sporty (eg football , darts, basketball)- my daughter did join in but was very boy-heavy so schedule could really benefit from a few more girly options eg dance or gymnastics or netball. Overall entertainment was on time and lively- some highlights included the fair , pool party, white party and karaoke. Also enjoyed the magic show but sure he also had birds last time.
Overall a magical holiday . Thank you again 3hb humbria.
Just back from a 10 night stay with my daughter, son in law and grandson aged 12 and granddaughter 9. Positives: We had two apartments in the back of block C. Rooms were quiet and we had no noise problems. They were large and very clean. Cleaners did a great job. Food was always hot and on the whole tasty. Drinks readily available. The animation team did a great job and as a family we joined in lots of the activities and won a few certificates and sun hats between the five of us. Complex kept clean and tidy throughout. We always managed to get sun beds although we took it in turns to put towels out at about 8 am. However always sun beds available but maybe not quite where you want to be seated if you left it to later during the morning or afternoon. All staff friendly and polite. Negatives: Only one buffet restaurant which is more like a canteen, with dining chairs and tables very close together. Lots of small children getting their own food and drinks who really need help from an adult which causes chaos but no fault of the hotel. Small ball situation in pool. One day you could play with one and the next day you couldn’t. Depends which life guard was on duty. If you have young children be aware that pool attendant may not be looking out for dangers in the main pool (as on more than one occasion the guy was asleep).
Positives
Hotel is lovely, apartment rooms are really spacious and well presented. Beds are so comfortable. There are loads of sunbeds available, however around the pool is a challenge and you will need to be there before 7am. However the grass areas are fine and you can get a bed after 10am on the grass. Staff are friendly and work hard, entertainment team put on activities all day.
Negatives Food!! Not much choice. If you are used to decent all inclusive holidays you will be disappointed. There were some evenings when it was a struggle. You can only eat pizza so many times. Pool water is COLD, you do get used to it and it began to warm up, we went end of July so I can imagine August will be warmer. There is not a lot to to do in the local area, however Uber is cheap and you can visit a lot of places
Overall, I would recommend it if you have never been to the area, but would not return myself as there is nothing to return to.
We stayed here for 4 nights in a one bed apt as a family of 5 in block c facing the splash park. We had sun on balcony all afternoon and evening which was a priority for us.
I wasn’t sure what we’d make of the place as we usually travel to much larger hotels. I can say hands down the service here was better than some 5star hotels I’ve stayed in. Every staff member we met was so helpful and friendly.
The animation team do a wonderful job. And the hotel in that respect is geared towards younger kids. My teen was bored but younger ones loved it.
Food was excellent for an AI. Well organised although loud in the dining room which is to be expected! A tip is to try sit outside. Snack bar is a great idea as it serves late in the evening as well as throughout the day.
Recommend for families with younger children.
We are currently holidaying here with our two daughters. The positives, there are many. The food is excellent and very good quality. The restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. The managers welcome us every time and the whole experience is great. The pool is great for everyone. Cleaned everyday. Getting a sunbed is tricky though and unfortunately you need to be up early to get a bed by the pool. The entertainment team are friendly and really create a fun positive vibe without being over the top. Rooms are great, very cool and cleaned really well. The downside for us was the bar staff, they really are so miserable. I smiled, tried to make conversation but they didn't want to know. Often they were rude and we ended up using the bar in the club in the evenings as the bartender there was friendlier and made nice drinks. I feel some customer service training in this area would be beneficial. Overall though a great holiday.
