From the property, visitors can admire stunning views to both the sea and the countryside and get to the main beach of Albufeira, which lies a few steps away from the premises. Moreover, there are several golf courses in the surrounding area and the nearest one is at a mere 4 kilometres away. The elegantly furnished and spacious guest rooms are the best places in which visitors can enjoy of a restful night's sleep, as they are fully equipped with standard amenities. The property counts with a fantastic outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a nicely kept garden, as well as a delicious on-site restaurant serving exquisite specialities.

A lovely, quiet, small, adults only hotel
A lovely, 24 room, adults only hotel, on the marina side of Albufeira. The hotel is well presented, sitting on the hill above the marina - hence the name! The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast choice was very good suiting British and continental tastes. The gardens, pool and jacuzzi were very clean and well kept. If all residents were to use the facilities at the same time (they don't) there would be plenty of room for everyone - no competition for sun beds! The hotel is 600 metres from a small supermarket, 1km from top of beach and restaurants, 1 mile from old town and 1 mile from the marina. It is tough walk back to the hotel (uphill) or a cheap Uber for the faint hearted. All the staff were excellent - cleaners, cooks, reception etc. We had an early flight transfer (4.30am) - the hotel knew and left us breakfast items in our room to take with us - a nice touch. We used the hotel as a base to do activities and would spend a few hours relaxing around the pool before going out for a meal in the evening.

Just what we wanted!
Rooms at this hotel are clean with ample storage & fresh towels daily. Breakfast was good although we would have preferred the bacon to be crispy. Saying that there was an excellent choice. Staff are friendly & polite. The grounds are beautiful & well kept. Our only recommendation is that smoking & vaping around the pool should be restricted to certain areas. Guests were vaping on sunbeds next to us & smoke & fumes were wafting into our space. We totally enjoyed the peace & quiet & walked down to the Old Town most evenings. There’s a steep walk returning but taxis were always available, about 5-6 euros. I would recommend this lovely hotel.
Brilliant little Hotel
Stayed 2wks from 31st May and highly recommend everything and everyone connected to Cerro da Marina. Our room #9 was very spacious and had everything you'd need. We can't think of a single negative thing to say. Pool area is great with more than enough beds, andxa couple of relaxing areas slightly away from the pool. The included breakfast is mire than adequate and better than most. The staff are without exception fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. It's our first time here but we met people who've been coming for over a decade, andxwe can understand why. The only downside is it's up a very steep incline which, in 30+ degrees, provides a calf-burning climb. If you book here you won't regret it if you're after an adults only,quiet and clean place. Pleasant stay
Nice hotel in a good location for the marina and old town Albufeira. Both about a 13 minute walk for us. We didn’t find the hill back up a problem but others have commented on it. The area is generally hilly and slopes to the old town. Room was a good size with plenty of storage, more than we are used to. Good shower. Pool and jacuzzi area is nicely done and well maintained with nice plants. Breakfast had a good choice, even a few hot items, reasonable quality. The honesty bar was well stocked with snacks and drinks but note that there is no tea and coffee in the room. You can hire a kettle and safe for a fee. You can buy basics at the hotel if you forget them. The hotel can sort excursions, shuttles to nearby places and spa treatments but we didn’t use these. This is a great place if you like to be independent, but perhaps not if you want to be waited on hand and foot. Rooms a little dated but we didn’t mind as they were big.

Cerro da Marina is a charming, peaceful hotel .it's been the perfect place to unwind. It is spotlessly clean and set within beautifully maintained gardens, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was spacious, bright, and airy, with a lovely view across the rooftops towards the marina and overlooking the beautiful gardens. The honesty bar is a great idea and works really well. Towels were changed every two days, everything was kept immaculate, and the reception staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay within walking distance of the marina and old town, albeit on a hill ! I would highly recommend Cerro da Marina. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return.
