Exceeded our expectations based on previous reviews
Older couple visiting in August, I was a bit worried about sun-bed wars and the number of kids, but it was absolutely fine. We could always get a sun-bed and the children there were all really well behaved and not too noisy. Hotel was well maintained and exceptionally clean. We had a pool view studio and we had everything we needed. AirconAir-con quiet and worked a dream. The shower was amazing, good pressure and never ran out of hot water. Decor exactly as the pictures on their website. Didn’t use the restaurant for breakfast so can’t comment but poolside bar food was fine, decent portions and reasonable value. 10 mins walk to closest beach that has beds and food establishments. 15 mins walk to the Old Town. Not an issue for us but uphill on the way home and some cobbled pavements are quite wonky, something to be aware of. I was limited to wearing flip flops, heels were a definite no no. Hotel bar was very good value, it was under €10 for a beer and G&T. Two little niggles. Firstly, they could do with more plug sockets. There were 2 bedside for the lamps - no ceiling light so these needed to be used/stay plugged in. Two more plugs in the kitchen area for the microwave, kettle, toaster and all the gadgets we need to charge. Secondly, signs say towels on floor will be replaced and hanging towels will be left to be reused. I am happy to be more sustainable/save water and re-use but they were changed every day regardless that they were hanging up. On the day they only left one bath sheet I called reception to ask for another towel and was asked to collect it from reception. Not the end of the world, but it is your mistake so you should bring it to me. Was given a tiny bath towel and from then on we were given one small bath towel and only one decent sized bath sheet.

Excellent hotel
Thank you for another fabulous holiday Brisa Sol. Excellent hotel. Beautiful pool & surrounding area. Excellent pool snack bar. Excellent sophisticated hotel bar. Large apartment. Immaculately clean hotel throughout. Immaculately clean apartments. Thank you to the cleaning staff for their daily cleaning.

Summer holiday at Brisa Sol
Had a great time at Brisa Sol. The hotel was immaculately clean the pool was big, with a relaxed atmosphere and the sun beds were plentiful! The gym however needs updating and should be included in the holiday price as should the tennis court and football pitch although you have to pay extra to use them. In a great location with huge supermarket next door. 20 mins walk from new town and 15 mins walk to old town and beach. Will definitely be returning next year

Late review, stayed here for five nights self-catering last August and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a superb location in Albufeira. The room was large enough and although dated, very clean and quiet. The pool is great with plenty of loungers around. Would happily visit again!
