As if there wasn't already enough to recommend it, the Auramar Beach Resort provides all-inclusive accommodation, making the stay as comfortable as the views are spectacular.
All the twin / double rooms are air-conditioned and come with private bathrooms and balcony. Rooms are kitted out with satellite TV (4 UK channels), fridge and a room safe. Irons and hairdryers are also available on request. Partial sea view rooms are available, you must book a superior room or pay locally for an upgrade if there is availability. Please note the superior rooms offer the same amenities as the standard, however the room will be located on the 3rd floor or above. Standard rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors.
There is a whole world of entertainment waiting for you at the Auramar Beach Resort too. With two exceptional swimming pools, children's pools and a heated indoor pool, you can enjoy a variety of swimming experiences inside, outside and in the sea. Hotel looks fantastic. Have to queue over an hour to get the all inclusive wristband bands have to come back after 15:00 to get the room and it takes over an hour again everyone jumping the queue. Bar only has 1 member of staff so the queue is out the door and it takes 25 mins to get a drink. Never stay here you don’t pay for service. You get treated like a cash cow

Great value for money!
Our holiday in Madeira was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, so we booked this hotel at the last minute and we didn’t regret it. It’s our sixth day here today and loving it. The staff were lovely, with special mention to Gerson, Carlos and Amandeep in the dining area. We went all-inclusive and enjoyed the food and drinks. The location was great — short trip to the Old Town and 50 mins to Faro Airport. The resort is beautiful — with a beautiful beach and cliffs at the back of the property. The beautiful ground is well maintained and so lovely to relax in after a meal. Our room has everything we need and is cleaned every day. The entertainment team are amazing. We really enjoyed the performances. Obrigado!! 👍😃
Disappointed
Wasn’t impressed with this hotel at all and I am not usually a person that writes reviews but just feel like I have to. We went all inclusive and the breakfast was probably the only decent one, lunch and dinner there wasn’t much option. There was also certain rules with the drinks you couldn’t get an alcoholic drink from the reception bar you had to go down to the pool bar and the all inclusive drinks stop at 11pm. There was also quite a long queue to get a drink in the day too. I would recommend just doing breakfast only here.
As soon as we entered our room it had a really horrible smell and the bathroom smelt like drains on occasions. There were hairs still left on the shower wall. Also really could do with a refurb, the whole place!
The location was okay, you could get a 10 minute taxi to the old town but walking would probably take you about 45 mins. However, there is a nice little private beach you can walk down to which would only take 5 mins and it is set in lovely surroundings.
There was also some maintenance work going off around the pool one day which wasn’t very relaxing.
I will say the staff have all been really friendly.
Will not be returning to this hotel.
Awful Hotel
The absolute worse hotel I have ever stayed in, we arrived early and were told check in was 3:00 pm fair enough we waited around then at 3:00pm the reception filled with people trying to get into their rooms, we had over another hour wait after check in time before we finally got a room, the lifts only for one person and a suitcase very old fashion lifts I might add, then we got to the room on a ground floor, the rooms looked nothing like they advertise online, chipboard kitchen with no cupboard doors, rusty fridge, two adjoining doors to the apartments beside us which is awful it’s like you are in the room with your neighbours, we had to listen to them going at it, your one was so loud it was like they were making a porno next door. Balcony covered in bird poop and never cleaned, One of us got a shower the first night and she was burnt alive the water was so hot and we had no cold water, the next day the towel situation came to light where they clean the rooms take your towels and come back around 7-8pm with them, we actually started drying out towels outside on the balcony and locking them in our suitcases during the day so we could get ready to go out early, one of us organised an excursion with the rep in the hotel to swim with dolphins and she completely messed up her booking meaning she had to stay in the Waterpark all day instead of 9:00am she got to do her swim at 3:30pm absolutely disgraceful and when my friend complained the rep didn’t seem to care at all, they had her money so didn’t care. the all inclusive was terrible the food options never changed and as the days went on the food options got less and less, then to top it all off we were eaten alive by bed bugs. The smell of weed everywhere was awful, I actually could not wait to go home.
