Lovely clean and relaxed aparthotel
Lovely small aparthotel. Staff lovely. Clean and great apartments with everything you need - oven, kettle, microwave oven and hob. Very relaxed. Bar has lovely food. Special mention to Maria at the bar and for a lovely young man a check in (something like Thomas … but don’t catch his name - working his school holidays). Kids loved the pools and lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Beach about 10min walk away. Lovely rock pools too!

Disappointing Stay
Really have mixed reviews if we’re honest. Certainly not following the masses with 5/5 scoring. In no particular order..
- Gym was tiny and had no air con, not the gym advertised on website
- element on our cooker went on day 2 , was replaced in a timely manner
- shower hose over bath rather dated was also loose
- family of four could not sit out in balcony , too small
- not enough sun loungers to cover all residents
- pool area requires maintenance, grass overgrown, grime (rim) is noticeable on both large pools - needs to be cleaned
Flies , ants and cockroaches affect relaxing time on sun lounger. Our biggest concern was the female member of staff working in the bar / dining area - Maria Very grumpy and not friendly at all No consistency on service provided The friendly lad looked after us really well, when the same was expected from Maria it all became uncomfortable, very abrupt and unapproachable. Bottle of wine left in the room on our last day, feel like it’s a sweetener for a positive Trip advisor review Not for us I’m afraid , would not consider returning.
Brilliant will come here again
This is a brilliant location with a lovely atmosphere, the rooms are spotless and the apart/hotel offers great value, close to amenities, such as mini markets, quality restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach
It doesn’t get much better than this
There is absolutely nothing to say about this place except it is perfect in every way. The apartments are absolutely spotless and have everything you need for your stay. They are cleaned every day. The location couldn’t be more perfect, the beach the restaurants the shops are all within 5 to 10 mins walk. The people who own these apartments are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The on site bar, restaurant is perfect for that glass of beer or sangria. Do not hesitate to, just book it .
Great holiday
Just back from 8 nights in Aquamar Albufeira. We had a great time. Pool area is lovely and quiet no rushing for beds any morning. The staff were amazing. Food was very great , full breakfast, sandwiches, pizzas, chips etc, a great selection, all delicious. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped with everything you might need. There is good air con in apartment. Have nothing negative to say. Very close to the beach. Some lovely restaurants very nearby. Definitely hope to go back. Only 40 minutes from the airport. Thank you for a great holiday.
