The beach and numerous restaurants are on the hotel's doorstep, while pubs and nightlife spots are 3 kilometres away. The accommodations have a modern and renovated decoration. The rooms are designed in such a way that the rest is guaranteed through its comfortable beds and cozy atmosphere, excellent furniture and complete equipment of the unit, they encourage visitors to explore the beaches and enjoy the sun in the complex.

location and quality of the hotel was very good plenty of pool areas and immaculately clean we went as 9 people adults and children mix so had to book 2 rooms i have mobility restrictions so the room we picked in what they called the prestige section of the hotel (it's split between 2 buildings) was expected to be higher spec than the other part of the hotel that's how it came across on the booking site, but the better room was not in the prestige building but in the other , ours ended up with a shower over the bath whereas the other room was walk in and the overall spec of the other room was better than the prestige very misleading . Other than that the hotel is great for families and we would definitely recommend and would go again , just picking the correct section of the hotel next time

I loved ever bit of it.
It's was the best experience, everyone was so nice, the helpers were so kind to everyone, I will definitely be going back to this again, tbere was great games was so much fun, the helpers was so kind to the kids and making them feel so special, they are so helpful.
Very good experience
Had a great time at the hotel very good entertainment crew , Inês also Joana made my kids very comfortable with the dress up giraffe & and also Joanna at the kids disco , joana’s face painting 👌🏽 and assisting in bringing kids to the dance floor was great , in overall the BELLUX entertainment crew was very welcoming , energetic and entertaining perfect performances!
Which made our holiday for the kids very good.

Best Holiday Ever
I don't have enough writing space to tell you all! It's 10/10 & an absolute must for families. 14 swimming pools/splash park/waterpark/indoor heated pool/outdoor covered heated pool! Blown away & will be booking for 2027! Bellux Entertainment 10/10, Nuno Machado & his team I applaud you, FULL detailed itinerary Mon-Sat! Pilates/yoga at 10.30am, kids football tournaments kick off at 10.30am also, aqua aerobics/dance at 5pm. Aqua volleyball for adults/kids etc, sooo much to say! Disco 🪩 @8pm followed by entertainment after that, Nuno & his Team were mind-blowing! Any family we spoke to were "returning" guests! We had 2, 1 bed apts, wow, so spacious, towels changed regularly, bins emptied & apt cleaned! Huge space in apts, towel hire if you don't want pack towels! You have 3 Hotel/Apartments in 1 complex grounds ( the hotel is The Prestige, Aparthotel where I stayed & The Village is apartment blocks near the beach end (some had 3 beds). 3 mins walk away you had the 4th complex Alto Da Colina where the waterpark is. It's a "quieter" resort as most of the entertainment in around the pools of Aparthotel! We done a morning/afternoon up there & ate food in the bar another day. Pool tables , slot machines for kids (bring your €1 🤣🙈) it had it all. Bar closes at 11pm on site . Mini mart on site with pool bars & restaurants also, across the road on left you had supermarket/coffee shop/bakery & Italian restaurant, on the right you have supermarket/chemist/hair dressers/beauty salon!! Also have a Private beach ⛱️ BUT that's my only tiny issue, steps to beach shocking steep but I found a "flatter" way which is less than 10mins away, take a right out of complex, at the petrol station take a right and follow beach signs, lovely quiet and on flat ground. Irish bar/restaurants/shops 10-15 mins away walking (depending on child walking) Dave in the Four 🍀 Leaf Clover & his beautiful dog 🐶 Clover were so friendly, we went back there for food a few times, kids done karaoke 🎤 one night. Mars Shopping Centre is a must & also The Algarve Shopping Centre. If you don't drive like my party of 6, Uber is your friend & so handy & cheap, max your waiting is 2 mins! Old town is beautiful day & at night! My eldest girl is coeliac & it's always a struggle for food away, but Dave sorted her & most places accommodated, The famous Strip is not for families at NIGHT, only stags/hens etc. It's gone down hill big time & all the little Nik nak shops are more or less gone !! Old town safer ! We done the strip during the day & found a pizzeria place at the bottom of the strip that done a gluten free MENU, my daughter was delighted! I've probably left out bits, but overall I can't stop talking about the resort !! People were so friendly & nice , if you wanted "quiet time" there are sofa chairs dotted around the resort with tables and coffee machines , my mam travels with my family & loved it. We are planning our stay for next August already!! Thank you Alfagar and Nuno & all your team in Bellux Entertainment, this holiday tops any family holiday to date ! My eldest is 26 so I'm a long time travelling,other two kids are 8 & 10. It's 15 years since I was last in Portugal and whilst the Strip has gone downhill, Portugal has so much more to offer 🥰. Yoga with Nuno in Alfagar
I had the pleasure of attending several yoga sessions with Nuno from the Entertainment team in Alfagar, and every class was a fantastic experience.Nuno is an exceptional yoga instructor very professional and friendly. Each session was thoroughly planned with clear instructions and the perfect balance of challenge and relaxation. hank you Nuno, your classes became one of the highlights of my stay.
