Lood boom boom music
Music around the pool is abominable it's so loud annoying and boom boom boom super load. Unable to relax around the pool but worst of all you cannot sit on your own balcony and chill due to the loudness of the music. Even with your balcony door closed you still here the music. Reported this to reception but no action taken.

The best hotel
We have just returned home from yet another wonderful stay at this hotel. We have been coming here for the past 5 years and it never disappoints. As always the place was beautifully clean, staff supper friendly and hard working,shame about some of the rude clientele staying at this hotel but you get that everywhere people thinking they are entitled. The staff do a wonderful job and dont deserve to be talked to rudely. We were all inclusive on this occasion, good drinks choice as always, food a good standard however as we visit regularly we have discovered many nice restaurants that we like to eat at. Vivaldos which is at the beach about 15mins walk for a superb full English breakfast by the sea. Royal chinese 10 minutes walk down the road is an absolute must, paulus Italian 5mins down the road is excellent food and good value,neto 10 mins down the road which is a Portuguese restaurant,highly recommend this unbelievable good value meals. Grill en oven which is located on the strip 10mins from hotel do fabulous cocktails and cheap breakfasts.free shuttle bus from hotel to the old town hourly. This place is amazing.highly recommend and as always we will return at least once next year
Absolutely excellent
Absolutely fantastic hotel, food excellent, rooms clean and have everything you need. Pool area cleaned and maintained daily, plenty of sunbeds. Staff helpful, friendly and fun. Our first time here but wont be the last. Planning for next year already.

Terrible bar staff
Hotel clean, animation staff excellent, pool clean. Food ok. Alcohol selection very poor especially the cocktails. Bar staff very rude, especially the outdoor pool guy with moustache and long hair. I dont drink but friends do and he was especially rude to me.
Nice Hotel but please improve the lifts & bar service
Really nice (spotlessly clean) hotel, location is very good for local bars and cafes, restaurants etc; Having said that we did not use them much because we were AI and were in Portugal for golf & by the time we got back it we were too tired to go exploring. Food is probably the best I have ever had in an AI hotel, something for everyone, plenty of choice including for vegetarians which my wife is and I would not hesitate to take her there for a break. Anyone who says the food is anything else but excellent needs to give their head a shake. Rooms are o decent size and the maid service is good, plenty of draw & hanging space but although everything is fine (not tatty) they are showing their age a bit and could do with an update / refurb, just starting to show their age. Pool areas and bars are fine and there never seemed to be any issue getting a sunbed but again we did not use them much. Negatives were the bar only wanting to give each person 2 drinks at a time maximum (why?). This meant that for the 4 of us one man could not go to the bar and get our group a drink but 2 of us needed to stand in the queue, don't understand the logic in that as it is an AI after all. Main letdown are the lifts, only 3 very small lifts for 5 floors and the one near the restaurant was out of order for the duration of our stay. 2 lifts in the foyer are extremely slow and take 6 people maximum but on several occasions when there were only 4 people (average size) the weight warning buzzer would sound & the lift would refuse to move. So when 4 of us with golf bags needed to get from the fifth floor to reception it meant 2 trips either way with the associated waits for other guests and it became a really irritating event.
