Disappointing Service
My daughter and sun in law were staying at the Hotel for their Silver Wedding Celebration. I tried to arrange for a Bottle of Champagne to be put in their room as a token from my wife and I. I first emailed the Hotel on the 23rd August and after getting no response I telephoned them; the receptionist told us the the Events manager was handing it and would get back to us - He did not. I then telephoned again on the day they were arriving and was told the a complimentary bottle would be put in their room - it did not happen. On the day before their Silver Wedding I again telephoned the hotel and was told that as the day was not until the next day then it would happen then. NOTHING HAPPENED - NO BOTTLE - NO EXPLANATION.

We visited this outstanding restaurant to celebrate my husbands retirement . From start to finish the experience was simply perfect ! We were greeted with a glass of bubbles and a card of congratulations. We were made to feel very special and both the food and incredible view over Valletta would be hard to replicate . A big shout out to goes to Uttam and Gladson who were extremely attentive but in a most discreet and professional manner . Our meal ended with a wonderful dessert with a lit candle - memories will last forever
Great city break
We have had a fantastic stay at The Embassy Valletta Hotel. The hotel is an excellent location to the centre of the city. Alexander and the team at the hotel are amazing and little things like reception drinks after you arrive and melon around the pool are really nice touches. The hotel is really modern and clean

A lovely hote in the heartnof Valletta l with staff that really care
A lovely hotel with exceptional staff
We have just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel and, overall, had a wonderful experience.
The hotel itself is beautiful. We particularly loved the pool area and the roof terrace, and we really enjoyed the restaurant. The location was also excellent for exploring Valletta.
What really stood out for us was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and professional. Abeer, the Office Manager, was particularly helpful and went out of her way to look after us throughout our stay. We really appreciated her kindness and the way she personally followed up on our concerns. The complimentary wine and soft drinks and the late check-out were also very thoughtful gestures and much appreciated.
There was, unfortunately, one significant issue with our room. There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the drains which, at times, smelled strongly of raw sewage. The room was deep cleaned and initially the smell disappeared, so we decided to remain in the room rather than move. Unfortunately, the smell returned the following day.
A room move was discussed when another room became available, but by that point my Mam, who is 75, was settled in and, as we believed the problem had initially been resolved, we decided it was better not to move.
We did feel it was important to mention the drainage smell as it appeared to be an ongoing issue. Hopefully the hotel can investigate the underlying cause, as I would hate for another guest to experience the same problem.
That said, I don't want this one issue to overshadow what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. We loved the hotel, the facilities and the atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely wonderful. We left with many more positive memories than negative ones and would happily return to Valletta and consider staying here again.
