La Falconeria is split into two areas, the front side of the hotel is hundreds of years old and offers a nod to the island's historic past; inside, however, the hotel has been rebuilt in a more modern style which complements the original building well.
The resultant renovation allows the hotel to offer a perfect combination of beautiful scenery and modern facilities which in our opinion makes La Falconeria truly unique. The onsite restaurant, L'Artiglio, offers a selection of seasonal mouth-watering dishes for you to enjoy while the well-equipped bar is the perfect choice for a relaxing cocktail at the end of the day. For those looking to burn off some extra calories, after a day of sightseeing, there is a fitness centre and an indoor plunge pool.

Double or twin rooms at La Falconeria are beautifully decorated and include traditional Maltese stone floors. The air-conditioned rooms are all en-suite and come with flat screen TV, telephone, safe and tea & coffee making facilities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Could not fault this hotel
This hotel suited my stay for the 4 days I was in Malta. The staff are so attentive and very polite. Management never let these staff members leave they are truly amazing.
Centrally located to everything you need to do in Valetta with the ferry to Sliema a 5 minute walk away and the main bus port only a 5 minute walk away. The only thing I would complain about is the jug plug does not fit in the recess area where the tea and coffee are kept, had to move the jug to boil the water for my coffee each day but not a huge issue, but this should be rectified before anyone electrocuted themselves. Immaculately clean and very spacious. Huge thank you for making my stay so memorable.

Beautiful quiet hotel with good facilities and great staff
Repeat trip to a favourite hotel in a fantastic location, near to the centre of Valletta but still quiet. Still as good, with helpful staff, well equipped rooms and a lovely indoor pool. Breakfast choices were good and cooked well. Waiting staff were attentive and professional, as were the staff on the reception desk. Will continue booking the the future .

Amazing Six Nights in Valletta
Stayed at La Falconeria for six nights, we arrived after 12:00 am and the hotel kindly organised our transfer from the airport which was a God send after such a long day of travelling. Lovely warm welcome on arrival, staff are great here from reception, to breakfast to housekeeping, so friendly, polite and courteous.
Our room was 302, it was bijou but had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable, great bathroom, view of Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St Paul's Pro-Cathedral. We asked for an extra chair so that we could have a glass of wine in the evening (from the mini bar) just taking in the gorgeous view.
Breakfast was amazing, I did read before our visit that it was table service, and yes it is offering a great choice of hot dishes from an English breakfast to Maltese specialties, and there is a great self service continental selection too so you won't go hungry.
Its steps from all the bars, nightlife and restaurants of Valletta, but it is located in a nice quiet street opposite the French embassy, so no noise what so ever. Also about < 10 minutes walk from the bus station.
La Falconeria is truly a wonderful hotel, great location, amazing breakfast, lovely staff and a comfortable bed, quiet room what more do you need, oh yes excellent air-con too.

A Great Location and Even Better Staff
We just spent a week at La Falconeria Hotel and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect (there is a bit if an incline up to the City Centre, but I am in my mid-seventies and I managed it), The amenities worked well for us, our room was clean and fairly modern and the best part of our stay was the staff. They are amazing and it is easy to see that they are well trained and enjoy their jobs. We had a room with a balcony that had remarkable views of the old city and modern Sliema. We sat out there every evening and soaked in the ambience of Vellatta. A special shout out to Daniel who recommended a number of activities and restaurants. I hope that he had a great escape to Paris!!!

Great hotel staff and location
We upgraded to a suite, room 501 as we wanted to have a bath rather than a shower. It was huge with a large terrace as well, the views being superb. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The position of the hotel was perfect, it was a quiet spot but only about 100 yards from the Republic street.— a hive of activity with shops restaurants and bars. That 100 yards was a bit steep, a further 100 yards takes you, less steeply, to Merchant street, teeming with restaurants etc. breakfast was good with hot dishes cooked to order. Staff were very friendly and always keen to help.
