Great location by the water. Hotel puts on a shuttle to the centre every 20 mins as it is a short but steep walk to the centre. Buffet breakfast excellent and staff were as well . Hotel slightly dated but that is part of the charm . Great pool area and always had beds available .
Only good for location
When we arrived we were told check-in was not until 3pm and to leave our suitcase in the lobby where it would be placed in a safe room so we could have a look around. If they ask you to do this I would strongly suggest you refuse as when our cases where brought to the room, we were told the wheels don’t work on one of the suitcases on inspection the case was smashed in the corner, when we went to receptionist this was brushed off and denied any responsibility, when ask for cctv they said it did not work and was grey and fuzzy, I have never felt so disgusted at the service from staff at this hotel. If you want a drink I would suggest don’t go in the lobby bar as the service is slow to none existent it’s quicker to walk up to Valletta to get a drink.
Comfortable accommodation in great location
Great location for exploring Valletta. Comfortable rooms, nice facilities and very clean and tidy across the whole hotel. Service was mixed - whilst the staff were pleasant in the restaurant the service in the lobby bar could be a bit slow and the driver of the courtesy bus to Valletta was positively rude one night. Despite that would recommend for the accommodation and location alone.

Lovely hotel
This is a lovely hotel, our room had a side view of the harbour, with a lovely balcony, we sat for hours just watching the boats come and go. There is a large pool and a small “beach” it is not really sand, but there are steps down into the sea, steps are a bit dodgy and there are a lot of rocks, but well worth the hassle of getting in, sea crystal clear with loads of fish swimming around you. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good choice of food, we went about 9 to avoid the crowds. The hotel apparently is closing early next year for two years a total refurbishment and some more rooms being built planned. Unfortunately I fear once this is finished, it will be out of our price bracket due to it’s location and view the prices will be high.

Just great
Great location, staff fantastic, food good, a little tied around the edges but a great place to stay. We definitely be back after refit starting Feb 2027
