I would like to say thank you for the hospitality and support of the Pebbles staff they were super helpful and always smiling 😃 We loved our stay, the half board buffet was delicious and the rooms and hotel were very clean and wonderful! Great with kids and the variety of food was amazing! The hotel also offers transport to and from airport and wverything was well organized. We were 3 families with kids and had a fantastic time at Pebbles. Would definitely go back! 10 stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️
Hotel is located close to shops and 15 minutes from Bugibba square. The staff were pleasant, only one lift for over 200 rooms so you’re better off using the stairs. The room was clean but small as soon as you opened the door you were 2 steps away from the bed. The bathroom was tiny, the shower, toilet and the tiny washbasin all in close proximity and no surface to put your toiletries. Breakfast was basic with not a lot of choice, didn’t book dinner so there might have been more on offer. There is a gym and pool there but I didn’t get to use it. Big plus point is that the hotel is clean and the staff are pleasant but definitely not a 4 star.
The best thing about this hotel is its staff. Very polite, professional and accommodating. We had a few bizarre requests but they had no problem nor hesitation to help us out. Outside of that even if there were some issues they were quick to resolve and offer alternatives. The on-site lounge provided great dinner for us, the breakfast buffet was OK. It felt repetitive and they don’t have many vegan or gluten free options. The room was nice, cleaned every day, we had a queen sized bed which was very comfortable. Pillows not so much but it did the trick. Oh and the aircon was very quiet which is great as I normally cannot sleep with the aircon on
Arrived early nice entrance great welcome & room was ready early 👍 on entering bed was on angle corner room 406. Looked clean nice tv not many uk channels. Kettle & cups tea&coffee provided.free safe. They give card to get pool towel on return give card back. Now the balcony was tiny also had a big step down not good. Bed was big and ok just sheet provided for warmth.but if you got up in night you could easily bump head on hedge of wardrobe as on angle. bathroom nice but no where to put anything around sink also plug didn’t work. Shower head everyone must be under 4ft as didn’t stay any higher. Room was cleaned daily we hung our 2 towels on door cleaner would remove one & either fold up or replaced & left other hanging. We had a issue with pesky ants showed cleaner who moped but ants still returned daily. Breakfast was a Que but moved quickly we did see people going outside & entering without staff seeing. Breakfast was same everyday warm could do with a micro to heat food up. Tried anchor pub only Stella on tap not much choice. Bar member was asked at least 5 times by people if he could put England game on but didn’t seam to understand. Was not much change trying to get people to pay by card. All staff were pleasant . Indoor pool very nice & warm.Area not the best generator loud outside not hotels fault but did disturb as humming noice herd even pool side.Malta on whole as started to look untidy rubbish on pavements loads of flies. Not much in area around hotel be careful as it changes to Bora Bora youngsters in summer.
Stayed for a week as a couple. We had to wait to check in but they do store your luggage. Once we arrived in the room it was spacious and clean, very small balcony with a pool view. The shower head didn’t stay up but this didn’t cause major issues and the bed was comfy although the sheets weren’t changed through out the stay. Fantastic air con. The room was cleaned daily although the floor was never done and the cleaner had some personal hygiene issues! The hotel has a pub adjoined and we were right above this but it never caused any issues it was generally quiet throughout. The food we had was good, breakfast was very much the same everyday but tasty, Simone was very welcoming and polite. We had one meal in the Anchor which was really nice (Gyros and chicken burger). Lots of trouble with electric but no fault of the hotels so we lost power quite a few times. The immediate area is dirty and unkept. For this reason we wouldn’t return. There isn’t much around really and it was not to our liking. We did trips to Gozo, Sliema and Valetta which were all enjoyable and used the buses which we found reliable to get around. I would recommend the Gozo bus tour if visiting there but the rest of the time stick to public transport. Food recommendation- definitely visit The Sea Cloud- stunning food and wine. One last thing the the pool area is limited for sun beds and the indoor pool although it’s nice stay clear of the hot tub it’s dirty and smells of the sewer!
