The popular Palazzin Hotel is ideally situated in a quiet and secluded area yet only a few minutes' walk from Qawra promenade. As an added bonus, the popular entertainment area of Bugibba, with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops, is also within walking distance. Public transport to explore the rest of the island is within easy reach and guest facilities include an outdoor and indoor swimming pool.
The Palazzin hotel is a pleasure to visit and a holiday hotel that visitors return to year after year for so many reasons. Firstly its convenient location makes it a popular choice. From your base at the Palazzin, you can walk to the promenade at Qawra and in just a few minutes be strolling by the sea. That's a wonderful way to spend time in Malta - especially in the evening as the sun goes down.
The Palazzin is also walking distance to Bugibba. In this tourist area you'll find plenty of restaurants and bars to tempt you in for a cool drink or some sustenance. There is lots of fresh food on offer in Malta so eating out is likely to be a key part of your holiday experience. You'll find shopping in Bugibba too - ideal if you want to spend some time seeking out the perfect holiday gift or souvenir to take home.
Inside the Palazzin is a haven of fresh colours, clean lines and lots of natural light. Each of the rooms are tastefully decorated, all have air conditioning and a well-proportioned en suite bathroom. Guest rooms feature satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe and hairdryer. You'll be pleased to discover that your room also has a private balcony, the perfect place to take in a new day or to spend a few moments in the evening reflecting on your holiday experiences so far.
Your every need is served by the Palazzin too. The hotel has two swimming pools - one indoor and one outdoor - so whatever the weather or time of year, you are guaranteed a relaxing swim when you want one. There is also a hotel lounge bar and restaurant if you prefer to stay closer to home of an evening. Guests can also make use of the sauna and library on site too.

We have stayed in the Palazzin on a number of ocassions over the last 10 to 12 years and as always, we were given a very warm welcome by Simon the manager along with all of the staff. If you are looking for kindness and friendly service, then this quiet little hotel can do no wrong in my opinion. Situated in the back streets, it allows easy access to both Qawra and Bugibba with only a short walk downhill to Qawra promenade and a 5 minute walk to Bugibba bus station, tourist Street and a 15 minute stroll to the main Bugibba square which is unfortunately still under construction. Hotel rooms are of a more than adequate size with all the necessities, Tv, air con, kettle, hair dryer, balcony, walk- in shower, big comfy beds, safe and if anything extra is needed then you only have to ask.
Breakfasts and evening meals are more than adequate with a good selection to suit most tastes but obviously not everybody will be as content as I am if they are used to 4 star hotels in other Countries....(Remember, that 4 star in Malta is probably only 3 in Countries such as Spain.) The dining room, bar area, lifts and reception have been given a makeover since our last visit 2 and a half years ago and although the layout does not make the best use of space, it is more than adequate in its funcionality.
Janet and myself are very biased towards the Palazzin due to its convenient location and absolutely excellent staff, so it always be number 1 on our list for our yearly visits over to Malta.
If you have any questions about the hotel and its location, then please ask and I will give you my totally honest views, opinions and thoughts.
I'm only in my second day what a fantastic hotel the staff are so friendly and caring the rooms so comfortable and clean i saw my little cleaner who was so polite that I gave her 5 euros then I was so lucky to meet Simon the manager what a pleasant gentleman I feel so relaxed the next 5 days I know I'm going to love it it's a must go to hotel my room 303 is so quiet thank you Simon and polite staff
Stayed 5 nights and couldn't fault the hotel at all, highly recommend this hotel with great staff
Quiet, clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast and dinner menu. The staff are excellent and always willing to help.
This hotel is really a great find, away from the hustle of the main area of St Pauls Bay
We found the hotel spotless, they clean the pool daily, the breakfast is buffet style and plenty of choice, we stayed here B & B, Beds were super comfortable.
Downsides.. balcony furniture is really uncomfortable. During our stay there were various groups of Eastern Europeans staying, mainly women and they were rude and rowdy and took over as if the hotel was exclusively for them. Luckily Simon the manager was on hand to put this right, they also broke every rule around the pool area, staying in there one evening until 11.30pm. pool shuts at 8pm. The last downside is pool doesn't open until 10am and we are early birds. Id have appreciated it opening at 8am or 9am.
Would we stay again.. maybe but i would be checking on the group situation with Simon before clicking the button.
Generally though we had a lovely time. Spoiled by other guests but not the Hotel.
