Really lovely hotel, well situated and perfect for a comfortable holiday in Malta. My second holiday with the Marriott as my base. Can’t fault it. Spacious, clean, modern rooms and great customer service in every department we encountered. Anas & Chakra from the Concierge team were so helpful and accommodating. In fact the front desk team were very efficient and welcoming too.
The reservation team organised cake & delicious cuvée for my birthday and our wedding anniversary. A really lovely touch for which we were most grateful. I was also warmly welcomed back by Sanuu, the manager in the Marketplace Breakfast Restaurant. Remarkably she remembered my name from my visit two years prior and was so cheerful and eager to make sure everything was right for us. In fact, the whole team in the restaurant were great. Attentive and friendly. Special mention also for Alisha in the restaurant who was very personable & cheerful too.

Great hotel the location is fantastic,Bulleta Bay and St Julians a short walk away.Looking forward to our next trip and give a big shout out to Crisana ,Alisha,Ramjesh and Bimala .The whole team working there are doing a fantastic job smiles and nothing is a bother.
Very nice property. Gorgeous views. I would have given 5 stars if they would have made it smoother to adjust my reservation from 2 to 3 people (which I paid for, but somewhere in the Marriott computer system it mysteriously changed) Note- double check emails and screenshot total persons in your room. Another note to properly- why don’t you rake your beach every morning? I could have cleaned up that tiny beach in about 30 minutes. Hire someone to remove the graffiti that’s visible from the water. Malta is beautiful, help keep it that way!
So originally I gave this a 3 star for the view. But after I posted my original review, the assistant to the GM wrote a few things that didn’t matter.. so I’d like to address:
This is not a 5 star hotel. I just left a five star hotel in London for work, and at most this is 3 1/2 stars. This is a Marriott and nothing more and nothing special. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I travel almost weekly for work, so get a lot of experience. I can tell you I have pictures of people standing around when I asked for help. I can tell you that I called ahead and Marriott told me I could check in early due to status, so I took a 6 am flight and scheduled a 2 pm tour. This team wants to act like they should receive an award for checking me in an hour and a half early. No- I missed my tour, money I had spent. I told them I would take a room downgrade to check in early. In addition, the restaurant doesn’t take care of their guests. I was left outside with zero service. One server realized and knew it was wrong and did apologize, but doesn’t excuse the other 3. In the morning, there is nobody to order coffee from, but the hotel employees are literally standing around talking. The people here are so incredibly rude too. This hotel keeps getting worse and worse. The rooms are super weird with the lights, the wine list is terrible. I regret my decision to stay here. There are SO many cute hotels, stay elsewhere. If I come back, I will 100% stay elsewhere. The ONLY thing this hotel has going for it is the view.
Great hotel with excellent facilities, coffee machine, a range of breakfast choices, friendly staff and clean, modern rooms. We were celebrating a special occassion and treats awaited us in our room upon arrival. This was completely unexpected. Sandu in particular made us feel very welcome at breakfast and has excellent customer service. The roof top pool has amazing views over the bay and the omelettes were delicious. A gem of a hotel overall.
