This award winning hotel is ideally situated in the heart of St. Julians, facing the beautiful Spinola Bay and surrounded by a picturesque scenery, ideal for a romantic getaway. Travellers can find many restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, offering easy access to the rest of the island. The establishment consists of an elegant old townhouse with a tasteful interior design and a rooftop swimming pool where guests can enjoy a stunning view over the bay. The rooms are very spacious and present a fresh Mediterranean decoration with plenty of natural daylight. Standard facilities include a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a minibar and free Wi-Fi. Visitors may enjoy a delicious varied menu in the on-site restaurant, which offers a combination of Asian and Continental cuisine in a cosy ambiance. Breakfast is also available with a fine selection of regional products to start the day full of energy.

A stunning week in Malta. Top hotel.
Hotel Juliani is a lovely boutique hotel with a perfect view onto Spinola Bay. A great location for walks along the promenade and directly opposite the bus stop.
We visited (unplanned) on festival week meaning that each evening we were able to experience live bands, music, parades and fireworks. However this meant it did become very busy at times.
The hotel breakfast was lovely - varied and fresh.
The rooftop pool was a welcome retreat during the heatwave!
Zest restaurant was delicious and a lovely environment plus 10% discount as a hotel guest.
What makes the hotel extra special are it's staff, each and every one so warm, friendly and helpful.
Special mentions to Apple, the lovely receptionist , who was so helpful and patient with tips and recommendations on travel and excursions. And Caron the lovely waitress who remembered our coffee order and delivered with a smile each day.
Would 100% recommend and we will be back.

Our 12th Visit - Hotel Juliani
We’ve just come back from another amazing stay at Hotel Juliani in Malta (26th August – 2nd September), and honestly, it just keeps getting better every time. This was our 12th visit, which probably says everything!
I stayed with my daughter, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. That’s genuinely what this place is to us now, our second home. In fact, my daughter refuses to stay anywhere else!
The staff are just incredible. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, and nothing is ever too much trouble. A special mention to Angie, Ojo, William, Alfred, Sasha, & Santiago. you all made our stay extra special. But truly, every single member of the team is amazing.
Room service was spot on as always, quick, reliable, and done to a really high standard. The location is perfect too, with everything right on your doorstep.
One of the things we love most is the balcony views, they are absolutely stunning. We were lucky enough to be there during a time of celebration, with fireworks going off, and from our balcony we honestly had the best view in Malta (in my opinion!). It made the whole experience even more special.
And the breakfast is genuinely out of this world. So much choice, everything fresh, and something we look forward to every morning.
We wouldn’t keep coming back if it wasn’t so special. Hotel Juliani really does have something unique about it, and every single time we visit, it just reinforces that this is our place. Already looking forward to the next trip.
Everything you could wish for
Well-positioned boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Great service. Lovely breakfast. Pool very small but good for sitting around on the roof in the sun with a drink. Our room had a balcony on 8th floor overlooking the bay. We could easily sit there with 4 people for evening drinks. Very busy area all around day and night. Buses to every part of the island, including airport in front of our door. Good places to eat nearby as well as 2 restaurant in the hotel itself. It's not cheap but worth it for our 5-day stay.

Fantastic return visit
We had a lovely stay again at this fantastic hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, comfort of room and pool facilities but probably the highlight of this hotel are the wonderful staff, they are all so welcoming and helpful and make your stay very special indeed. We are already planning our return visit as we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in malta.

Can't go wrong with this great hotel!
First time in Malta and loved Hotel Juliani! Booked a larger king room and it overlooked Spinola Bay with a gorgeous view. Room was spacious, hotel staff were great, housekeeping took great care of us. Rooftop pool is a great amenity--beautiful views and mellow vibe. St. Julian is a bustling center--tons of restaurants and bars around, and LOTS of traffic on the street. Despite all the bustle, room was quiet. Lobby restaurant/bar is also fantastic, whether for coffee, drinks, snacks, or meal. We Bolted everywhere as opposed to renting a car--and Bolt was also amazingly fast and responsive. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Juliani.
