The hotel enjoys great public transportation links around Malta, including Malta International Airport and the capital city of Valletta, both 20 minutes' drive away.

Distressing !
Our stay at Hotel Argento was unfortunately very disappointing from the moment we arrived.
After landing following a long, hot, and tiring flight, we encountered several issues with our allocated room. When we raised these concerns with reception, the male member of staff on duty was dismissive and appeared more interested in arguing than resolving the situation. As paying guests, we found his attitude and level of professionalism unacceptable. After considerable back-and-forth, we were eventually moved to another room.
Unfortunately, the second room presented a different set of problems. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned properly, with faeces visible on the wall, and the bedroom had burn marks on the curtains along with an unpleasant odour. These standards of cleanliness and maintenance are simply not acceptable for any hotel.
To make matters worse, while I was getting dressed, a cleaner entered the room without knocking, completely invading my privacy. This was extremely upsetting and left me feeling very uncomfortable.
The problems continued throughout our stay. The air conditioning did not work properly during the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. It was only after repeatedly speaking with staff that a fan was eventually provided. While this helped slightly, it did not make up for the discomfort we experienced.
The breakfast was average and nothing particularly memorable. The only positive aspect of our stay was the hotel’s convenient location.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant and distressing experience. Poor customer service, unprofessional staff, inadequate cleanliness, and unresolved maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.
Wonderful Stay
Excellent location, lovely rooms, great selection for the breakfast buffet. The staff went above and beyond decorating my room for my birthday and making us feel well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it to be a great location close to local amenities and public transport.
Needed
Currently still here I don’t usally write reviews but always read them on the hotel I pick theres mixed reviews on this hotel i think this was needed I can not fault this hotel the rooms lovely shower so nice the cleaners in every day , up on roof top pool today with sun out is so nice , breakfast is so good in the morning they have everything and more delicious 🤤 I’d highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come bk 🥰

3 star at best! Good staff poor hotel
Would rate it a two but the staff made it a three:
Firstly - The staff are helpful and nothing is too much they did what they could to help!
Location - Good location just outside of the main Paceville strip and the bay both walking distance.
Facilities - This is the low rating, for a four star hotel the facilities are the worst 4 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The beds are awful, the gym is two bikes (one of which is broken), the pool not heated but we knew this but filled with bugs. The hairdryer was also awful so bring your own if you can!
Breakfast - really busy and very poor selection we stayed bed and breakfast for 5 nights, had it once then went out for it every other day!
Overall - It’s a cheap hotel, it is true you get what you pay for, but I’ve stayed in better 3 star hotels and I’m not sure what makes this 4 star.
PS not the hotels fault but there is a lot of construction going off in st Julian’s and we were woken up at 5am to drilling!
