Nice Hotel, But In Need of Improvement
The hotel itself is nice, but it is quite dated and could definitely benefit from some refurbishment. The rooms are spacious, which is a positive, although there was a slight damp smell that could be improved. Unfortunately, the cleanliness throughout the hotel was not up to the standard I would expect. The cleaning staff need to pay more attention to detail, as some areas could have been much cleaner. The food was average and nothing particularly stood out or was something I would rave about. On the positive side, the reception staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. One thing I would definitely recommend reviewing is the check-in time. We were unable to check in until 4pm, which I feel is quite late for a hotel, especially if guests arrive earlier in the day. Overall, the hotel has good potential, particularly with its spacious rooms and helpful reception staff, but improvements to cleanliness, refurbishment, food and the check-in process would make a big difference to the overall experience.
Great Stay
Once again had a lovely stay, and as a local, I find myself returning again and again. Everything is consistently great, including the clean rooms and amenities. In addition to the large Indoor and outdoor pools, the hammam, steam room and sauna are very nice amenities to utilise.
The Brass Bar drinks are another highlight, with a very unique choice of cocktails, while Waterbiscuit serves delicious food. A mention must go to Kumar at Waterbiscuit, who is always incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming. Mina at check-in is also wonderful and gives a warm welcome.
The hotel provides a wonderful sense of relaxation despite being in such close proximity to the hustle and bustle of St Julian’s, allowing for convenience but also respite.

Top quality!
I stayed at The Grand Haven Hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was spotless, modern and very comfortable. A special thank you goes to Tarek and Flavia. They were extremely welcoming, polite and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and rich, and the overall service was first-class!

We had a lovely time at the Intercontinental. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The service was top notch, with very friendly staff and housekeeping who accommodated all our needs. The breakfast was also very nice. I would highly recommend and will be staying here again in the future.
