The Waterfront is one of Malta's most popular 4-star hotels. Occupying a prime location on Sliema's seafront promenade it has excellent guest facilities and spectacular views across the harbour to Valletta. The local ferry connects over to Valletta regularly and is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Close at hand are the shops and restaurants of Sliema and the lively centres of entertainment in Paceville (a short bus ride away).

Fantastic dinner and entertainment!
Absolutely wonderful! Good was awesome! Rohan and Amrit were wonderful. The musicians were fantastic.
Lovely Holiday at the Waterfront Hotel
Lovely time in Sliema at the Waterfront Hotel. Room was very comfortable and was cleaned and tidied well every day by cleaners. We had a side sea view on the 3rd floor and our only slight gripe was that we directly faced a rather tatty building. We went with another couple who also had a side sea view and were a bit jealous as their room was nearer the corner of the building facing us with a better view down the coastline. That said it was a peaceful, and relaxing room with the view being the only moan that we have and it was massively outweighed by all the positives. The staff are brilliant They are positive.,cheerful, very friendly and really do go that extra mile to ensure that you have a great holiday. They do a great evening all you can eat and drink buffet and the staff make sure that your glass is never empty. A big shout out to Rikia and Puja for the way that they looked after us and the young lady at the reception desk who regularly booked us into the lido across from the hotel, booked us a taxi and generally treated our friends and us almost as if we were her own grandparents. Lovely hotel. Rarely came across such friendly and attentive staff as we did on this holiday.

Wonderful stay
Booked this hotel via Jet2 at their recommendation and we were not disappointed. We had a superior room on the 10th floor with a side sea view which was very nice. The room was comfortable but maybe lacked a little storage space but other than that fine. The staff at this hotel are friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent especially the barista for coffee. We dined in their à la carte restaurant as well as the buffet restaurant and superb rooftop bar ( brilliant views over to Valletta) and were very happy with the food and service. It was my birthday while we here and without prompting the hotel provided a cake and decorated our room with balloons and a “cake” fashioned out of towels! Completely unexpected but evidence of their service. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing
We are currently staying at this fabulous hotel and lucky enough to be on the top floor in the most beautiful suite . I simply cannot say enough wonderful comments about the hotel and every member of staff here . 5 star accommodation with 5 star and beyond service . I could fill pages with compliments around the whole Waterfront experience but I will simply say that having travelled a lot this is by far the most professional staff with exceptional personal skills and if we could stay longer I would in a heartbeat . Thank you so much to everyone here. And management , you should be very proud . Sarah xxxx
Nice experience!
What an experience! This is not just a great rooftop bar for the beautiful view, but first and foremost for its excellent quality and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we walked in, there was a wonderful, laid-back vibe in the venue.
A special shoutout to Roshan, Rikta, and Thulani from the service team—they were super friendly all evening and genuinely attentive to our needs. Since they had to accommodate food allergies, the kitchen adjusted the dishes wherever possible without any hassle. Two of the chefs even came to our table, which we highly appreciated!
The food was very delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the focaccia and carpaccio, and the ribeye was absolutely mouthwatering and beautifully pure in flavor. To top it off, they happily made us two off-menu cocktails with a smile instead of a regular dessert.
This place is highly recommended for the top-notch service and great quality. We had an amazing evening and will definitely be back!
