You'll know as soon as you arrive that you made the right choice. The Kennedy Nova is well situated for one thing, right on the waterfront promenade. And it's a wonderfully stylish place to stay; the reception area sets the tone with its attractive furnishings and décor, and that sense of style is continued in the guest rooms.
All twin and double rooms have en suite facilities and are smartly (but very comfortably) decorated. It's just the sort of room you want to see when you arrive tired after travelling. Sea view rooms are available for a supplement, but you'll find the same great range of facilities in all rooms, including TV, direct dial phone, minibar and hairdryer. Safe deposit boxes and tea/coffee making facilities are also available for a small charge, on request.
During your stay, be sure to make use of the seasonal rooftop swimming pool as it's an excellent suntrap and provides a wide vantage point out over Sliema and the Marsamxett Harbour.
With so much of Malta to see – and so much of it accessible from Sliema, you'll be heading out and about to the capital Valetta, perhaps even some of St Julian's nightspots, and don't forget to explore Sliema itself. The staff were amazing & could not have been more friendly & helpful. We paid for a superior room & the harbour view was stunning!! Central location with easy access to harbour cruises & hop on bus. Tasty breakfast. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable 👏👏👏
Horrible.
The hotel was horrible. We had a terrible experience; it was dirty, and there were cockroaches in the smoking area. The food wasn't good, and we sometimes felt sick. The air conditioning didn't work and it smelled bad. The refrigerator didn't work. The rooms were extremely dirty, and the staff was truly rude.

The rooms were bare, fridge was not working , bathroom window broken . No water in rooms at lest a welcome water , kettle and cups , iron just basic needs The breakfast was cold as winter this is not acceptable especially to start your day with Receptionist attitude said if you don’t like it leave Overall not worth the money at all I will never comeback
Terrible stay.
Awful! very dirty and old rooms. Loud AC, we cannot sleep at night properly during our 6 nights stay. Bathroom was a nightmare. Silicone need to be replaced immedietly and need deep clean or even renovated (like all hotel to be honest).Breakfast was poor,unhealthy and just not eatable. Breakfast staff very rude and not proffesional. So the atmosphere is bad. If someone think that this hotel is 4 stars, its not! For a kettle u should pay €5!!🤯🤯🤯 Cuz there is no kettle,no tea/coffee station or milk pods to make a hot bewerage in the room. We have spent a quite a lot of money for that and It is disappointing "experience" and we would not reccomend this hotel to anyone!! Disaster. Only one good thing is swimming pool on the roof top and location (nice view from the bar/ pool).

We booked this Hotel via Holiday Gems about 8 months before we actually went. We booked the Hotel Kennedy Nova because we had stayed there on our First wedding anniversary 40 years ago, and thought we'd visit again out of nostalgia . However, as the time drew near for our holiday, we kept seeing awful reviews about the Kennedy Nova on various review platforms. I was very tempted to cancel my holiday based on the reviews I'd read, and nearly did on one occasion. However, I'm so glad I didn't. We had a lovely stay, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our Twin Seaview room ( 503) was clean and tidy and had breathtaking views from the balcony . The balcony was equipped with a table and two chairs. The room was regularily serviced with new towels etc. Sizewise, the room was similar to what you'd get at a Travelodge or Premier inn. There was one large double wardrobe, two bedside cabinets and a dressing table which had a fully functioning fridge built in which kept drinks and food nicely cold. The Air contioner in the room worked well to keep the temperature down, but was little noisy at times . However, we quickly got used to this and it was not a problem to us. There were two UK type three pin socket outlets above the dressing table which both worked . There was a room safe in the wardrobe. This is key operated and there is a charge for it's use. 1 Euro per day, plus a deposit of 35 Euros for the key. On return of the key I received back my deposit with no issues. There are no tea making facilities in the room which is a bit of a shame, but I later found out that these can be supplied on request at additional cost. The bathroom was basic, but clean and tidy with a toilet, bath and shower . The shower head is a little dated, but once you get the hang of adjusting the temperature of the water, all was good. Water from the taps was clear and completely drinkable should you wish to do so. All of the staff at the Kennedy Nova were friendly, professional and happy to help. A special shout out goes to Mahendra who was always sociable and helpful. We opted for the Breakfast package. The restaurant was clean with plenty of tables and was fully staffed. There was plenty of variety which included, fried breakfast food, cereal, toast ,fruit, tea , coffee, juices etc. The hotel also boasts a little cafe at the front, and food can be eaten inside in the cool of the AC or ouside at tables under a shaded canopy if you wish to do so . We did, and passed many an hour watching people go by as we ate . The menu had options to suit all, and was very tasty and well presented. The Hotel Kennedy Nova has a roof top pool, which is rare for Hotels in Sliema. It isn't big, but we went up nearly every day and had no problem at all getting a lounger and good spot in the sun. The pool isn't really designed for hardcore swimming, but is great for cooling off and splashing around. Anyway, I just don't understand why this hotel gets such poor reviews. Yeah, okay, it's not the Ritz, but we genuinely had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
