1926 Le Soleil Hotel and Spa, the mission for the hotel is to make sure you are fully relaxed. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including a gym, a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Guests can also make use of the wellness area where aromatherap. In the evenings, guests can unwind with a refreshment drink at the bar, or kick back and listen to the live music.
Should you wish to soak up the sun, an outdoor infinity pool is just 200 yards away from the hotel which also features a poolside bar, sun terrace and sun loungers/parasols (subject to availability). Dine at the hotel's restaurant which offer delicious European cuisine as well as a lounge bar should you wish to enjoy a glass of Champagne in the evening.
The modernly decorated, air-conditioned guestrooms are equipped with a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay at the 1926 Hotel & Spa. Some rooms have a balcony, which gives guests additional space for rest and relaxation. The rooms have a double beds. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a TV, telephone, mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. All rooms have a private bathroom with hairdryer, bathrobe, and personal care products. Upgraded rooms such as superior rooms, junior suites and prestige suties are available at a supplement.

Guests will reach the centre of Sliema in only 500m, while links to the public transport network lie about 200m from the hotel. The beach and shorefront promenade is also just 200m away.
We stayed here for a week and had a great time. Perfect location for exploring Sleima and Valetta with just a 5 minute walk to the ferry. Lots of buses make it easy to travel to Mdina and Rabat. Room was lovely. Balcony so small that it just fitted two chairs but still nice for an evening glass of wine or morning coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Roof top pool only has limited space which has to be booked in advance so I suggest booking ASAP after arrival. Beachclub is a 5 minute walk and lots of sunbeds and a pool. Get there by 10.30, or after 4 30pm. Food at the beachclub is really good.
Really super hotel a 5 star experience . Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you . Pool side and Champagne bar staff amazing especially Jayron who made us superb cocktails. Always plentiful quiet corners to chill and relax. The Champagne breakfast what can I say, again 5* All freshly cooked to order. A truly stunning hotel beautiful interior and spotless throughout.
Great location, fantastic beach club and rooftop pool but badly let down by room design. NO drawers whatsoever, one small rail (not even a single wardrobe) . No mirror at design for doing hair and make up. Large mirror other wide of room but no plugs nearby to plug in hairdryer. Would not stay in this hotel again for these reasons. We had clothes and 'stuff' all over the room because there was simply no place to put anything.
I am only going to write about one thing - the scam they are practicing with your payment card. I see from another recent review I am not the only one. They take payments from your card without authorisation. They then claim you haven't made the payment and ask you to make it again at checkout. If you say you have already taken the money they dispute this and ask for proof. In my case I had fortunately seen on my Monzo account the money had gone prior to checkout and could send them a screenshot. They seemed to accept this and allowed me to depart. However they then tried 2 more times to take payments from my card whilst I was travelling home. I have had to get a replacement card. I have made a complaint to Jet2 but as my holiday has finished I have been diverted to an online complaint system instead of speaking to a person. All around a sour taste to what should have been a nice holiday.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. A male staff member entered my room at 9:30 PM without knocking or announcing themselves. After entering, they said they believed the room was vacant, which points to a serious lapse in communication and hotel operations and was a major violation of my privacy.
I was also assigned a room without a fridge and only learned this after checking in. The room itself was in unacceptable condition. The bathroom had a strong sewage odor, rusted fixtures, damaged walls, a toilet that would not flush properly, toothpaste stains left behind from a previous guest, and the curtains had visible food stains, raising serious concerns about cleanliness. The walls also provided very little sound insulation, making it easy to hear noise from both the hallway and neighboring rooms.
The customer service staff were friendly and professional, and location was convenient but they could not make up for the poor room condition, lack of privacy, and operational issues. Kindly note that both pools are closed by 6:30PM for travelers arriving later in the day. I would not stay here again.
