Excellent hotel! Can’t really fault it. Great rooms and facilities, all the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient with a particular shout out for Dilip Kumar who made are stay very special. 10/10.

The most beautiful hotel in Malta!
The most beautiful hotel in Malta! From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the lovely Manager, Julian, who was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The other notable staff were the lovely Joy in the Griffin restaurant at breakfast as well as Ahmed. In fact the Griffin Brasserie was so delicious that we went there three times for dinner during our stay. All of the wait staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful. The housekeeping staff was exceptional. Our suite was amazing! Glamour but with an understated and relaxed elegance to maximize our comfort. The suite was spacious, but the highlight was our private terrace with sweeping views over the valley! The terrace was as big as the indoor space and was a welcome private retreat after a days sightseeing. Those loungers were so comfy! The hotel is small and intimate and feels like a home away from home. Rabat is fantastic, and it’s doable to walk to Rabat and Mdina from the hotel, both for daytime sightseeing and nighttime meals. A very residential and non-touristy vibe was what we were after, and this was exactly what we were treated to. And I love how healthy everything was without sacrificing flavour. I really felt the best I have felt in a long time! Highly recommended!

The perfect hotel for a relaxing weekend
We had a truly wonderful weekend at the Verdala Hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed, with an exceptional ambience that makes it the perfect spot for a weekend retreat.
It’s the ideal place to slow down, relax, unwind, catch up on sleep, enjoy good food, and simply reconnect with nature. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it easy to switch off and enjoy the surroundings.
Breakfast was particularly lovely, with a great selection of healthy, fresh, and delicious options. We also had the chance to dine at the restaurant, which was a really enjoyable experience, with great food and a lovely setting.
Overall, it was exactly the kind of relaxing weekend we needed, and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. A beautiful place for a peaceful getaway!

Highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing spa!
We were staying at the Odycy Hotel in Malta and, as the spa at the hotel was closed, we decided to book a spa day for my husband, daughter and myself, especially as the weather was rainy. We were so pleased that we did!
On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely Shirley, who made us feel very welcome. We were offered water and herbal tea, and once we had completed our health forms, we were shown through to collect our towels, gowns and flip-flops.
The spa itself is first class, with hot and cold plunge pools, a sauna, infrared room, steam room, jacuzzi and indoor pool. There was plenty to enjoy and it was such a relaxing environment.
My husband and I had the infrared treatment, which involved lying on a special bed while the infrared heat gently warmed the body. It lasted around 20 minutes and the heat was incredibly relaxing. We also enjoyed the Himalayan salt room, which was lovely and peaceful.
My husband also had a full body massage with Jackie, which he said was fantastic. A big thank you to Jackie for making it such a great experience.
Water was available throughout our stay, although it was served in small disposable paper cones. We found these a little impractical, as you only get a tiny amount of water at a time, so proper cups or reusable glasses would have been much better.
We were also given a €20 voucher each to use towards lunch at the hotel. The food was good, and Clara, the manager, was absolutely lovely. My husband and daughter are both coeliac, and the team were very accommodating with their dietary requirements. We did have to wait a little while for our food that day, but once it arrived, it was very good.
The spa is open from 8am until 8pm, so you can make a full day of it if you wish. We didn’t stay for the entire day, but it was lovely knowing we could have. The views from the spa were beautiful and added to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, we had a fantastic day. The facilities were excellent, the staff were wonderful and the whole experience was so relaxing. A special thank you to Shirley, Jackie and Clara for making our visit so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this spa and would happily return!
