Short break to relax
On arrival the hotel looked clean tidy and modern, but our room was far from it, dated, chipped paint and not particularly clean, we also had a really bad musty smell in both the corridor and room. The air conditioning unit had just one setting, really cold so we either had it off and got hot or on and froze, nothing in between.
The buffet food was ok but mostly just warm at best and the choices were limited.
Hotel was in a residential area with lots of building work going on so we were woken at 7 daily by the builders.
I did love Malta and the travel rep at the hotel was really good.
Would I return to Malta yep, would I return to this hotel, absolutely not

A little gem
This is my third time to the hotel and the staff are so lovely and helpful. I emailed before I went to get a room At the Front as I like it, no issues they had it all ready. The food is great if you like authentic Maltese dishes. They do cater for plain eaters but we could not moan. Good meat veg and fish each day. Food all hot and fresh. Staff always cleaning and bring drinks at lunch and dinner. Great food for all inclusive. Carer for all. The hotel is having a revamp so work in places but the overall experience was a really lovely holiday. The roof top pool is a sun trap. The lady for excursions is a great help and got us some good days out. The hotel location is fabulous for getting about close to all you need. Thanks again for the Soreda staff for looking after us. See you again x
A not to go to Hotel 2 star at best
To start with on arrival we asked about food and was told restaurant closed at 9pm we arrived at 10.10 pm had to go out and find somewhere to eat. The room was ok but dated and had broken hand rail in shower floor was very slippery when wet. Food was never hot always cold or tepid at best. Very limited choice as well Roof top pool and bar ok but last day bar closed because it might rain even in 24 deg heat sunny by order of the management. And meant to be a 4 star hotel but clearly not customer focused.

Horrendous. Unsafe and not 4 star
Food poorly prepared. Facilities either not as promised or unsafe/broken. Managers either lie or shout and become aggressive.
Room wise, wardrobe door was warped and could not close. Fridge was damaged. AC remote broke. Patio doors would not work properly. Even worse was the glass shower door was missing as it broke and no need replaced it.
Lies regarding pools and snack bar. The only food at snack bar is some small dried cake and a ham and cheese sandwich ...that's it!

Fantastic
Overall this is a great hotel , staff are lovely can’t do enough and rooms are better than expected, we did have an issue with the shower this was rectified with 10 mins however the shower was not the best through the holiday that’s the only thing I’d say , it was warm however you had to hold it to shower which wasn’t easy, could have done with a bath mat as slippy but don’t let this put you off it’s a lovely hotel with places within a 5 minute walk to eat or drink the entertainment was ok worth a watch altho think if I was there 2 weeks would have drive me mad that said something for everyone , I would return no doubt , maids came every day fresh towels made beds and emptied bins
