Enjoyed every minute of my stay. Very helpful and nice stuff. Excellent breakfast and entertainment. Will surely make our third visit.
Absolutely disgusting, never seen nothing like it, basic hygiene is awful. Everything is dirty or old . Rooms are filthy we had a big lizard in our room when we told the big man at the reception he said , what can I do ? Like no help or anything. I was so scared .bedding disgusting we have to ask reception to change our sheets so house keeping is not doing they job. Most of the staff is rude and they all scared of the manager as soon as we ask for manager they said no we not to call him. atmosphere was more for the older people. The hotel is very dated dark and not even worth the 3 star . I hope they get shut down .
1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars. At checkin the receptionist wanted me to shout out the PIN number for my bank card over the reception, this is a breach of data protection, he then would have had both my card details and PIN number to steal my card details and use this for his own use. Did not explain where hotel facilities where. Breakfast very minimum selection, cheese slices, mini croissants for Stuart little, toast, fried eggs, beans, bacon and sausage is all there was, no one seemed to be working the breakfast area so if you are room only, feel free to get a quick snack and coffee as you won’t be questioned or seated. Housekeeping ok, toiletries are the cheapest shampoo and shower gel out of the local bargain shop, kettle and coffee machine in room, no tea or coffee supplied, coffee machine also has no where to be plugged in so what is the point of even having it. The beds are awful, mattresses are years out of date, should be sent to a skip as the springs are completely gone and hard to sleep due to being extremely uncomfortable, had to use bedspread to sleep on top of for extra padding from the mattress. Only good thing about this “hotel” is its location being in close proximity to the bus station, shops and cafes. Called reception prior to checking out the explain that my flight is not until the evening and asked if I would be able to store my luggage, they said yes, also you are not provided with this number and due to my experience of being a hotel receptionist in 3 to 4 star hotels in England, Ireland, lanzarote and America I know the universal number is usually 1 or 0 to call reception from the room. Upon checking out I was not asked if I enjoyed my stay, they basically took the key and said bye, even though I had said again I wanted to store my luggge they says yes bye bye, I then asked again where to store my luggage, they want you to leave your luggage in the big open reception area space, I explained my flight is at 6pm and I am not leaving my luggage in an unsecure area. Found the staff over all rude and ignorant with no care for customer service. Manager should send all staff on a customer service training course. How this was rated 3 stars I do not know, I would condemn the place. Also beware of the elevator to get to your room, the door has no sensors, I got my luggage in as there is a step down to get into the elevator and I then got jammed in the door, no sensors on door to stop them from closing. If you are a disabled person do not book this hotel. The ramp at the main entrance is very dangerous and steps up to rooms and elevator with no disabled access.
Clean hotel and rooms cleaned daily. Staff friendly and helpful. Only complaint was breakfast as it was exact same every day and very little gluten free
Booked a flight home 3 days early as this hotel and the area is a s#ithole and that’s putting it politely! Noisy builders outside from 7am-7pm daily even weekends bang bang bang - cheap basic breakfast poor quality-beds uncomfortable outdated rooms noisy hotel absolute dump be better going to a war zone
