This popular family run hotel provides spacious and comfortable accommodation in a secluded setting overlooking the sea on both sides at Paradise Bay. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday but has all the facilities for those who enjoy an active life and for families. The Paradise Bay Resort Hotel has its own private beach just across the road which is linked to the hotel by an underpass. The small ferry port to Gozo is only a short distance from the hotel and regular local bus services connect with St. Paul's Bay, Sliema and Valletta. Some of Malta's finest sandy beaches are also close at hand.

Perfect stay in Malta with Paradise Bay Resort Hotel
Very good hotel, perfect food and fantastic location:) Everything was really very good. Thanks to the hotel for the very nice stay.
An enjoyable time at Paradise Bay
We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Paradise Bay on a Half Board basis in September 2026.
We had a Bay View room. The bedroom was large with plenty of storage, including a safe. The bed was hard but comfortable (actually 2 beds, pushed together). There was a fridge - fairly antiquated - but did keep things cool. The air-con worked fairly well but seemed an old unit. The bathroom was also large, with a shower over a bath. The bathroom had a window in to a lightwell. Housekeeping changed towels daily.
We mainly enjoyed the meals which were all buffet style. Breakfast was exactly the same every day. Evening may be on a rotation, but in our 7 evenings there was always something different. It is a real shame that there is so little fresh fruit at breakfast.
The Porto restaurant on the other side of the road is really nice and on the beach. For Half Board customers there is 20% discount on meals. We were only given 10%, but got a refund the next day.
The hotel seems to be very successful in selling day passes to large groups. Frankly, they suddenly descended on the buffet like locusts. Huge queues, multiple heaped plates. I gave up on a main course at dinner.
Wifi in the room was good and we could stream on to an iPad.
We bought the weekly pass for the Malta bus service. Paradise Bay Resort is great for this as the buses are near empty on embarking as the terminus is just up the road. They fill up quite quickly further down-route.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in
Firstly, this is not an all inclusive hotel, as you couldn't even get a bottle of water before 10 AM or adter 10.30pm. There was only one restaurant where you could get food, Although they had lots of other stuff, but you had to pay for that and was open at certain times, if the restaurant was open you couldnt use that bar at all even for drinks. and the choice was 3 things 1. a bit of Pizza 2.sandwich in a box 3. one type of cake. There was another restaurant, but you had to pay to use this. You could arrange to book in the day before, which was bad enough However, you could not get the menu that was open to everybody that was paying, which was actually edible compared to most of the food in the main restaurant. They onlyhad a very basic menu for all inclusive which was as bad as the food in the other restaurant. The staff were very unhelpful, rude, and just didn't seem to care about anything other than sitting around chatting with each other, customer services did help get us a bottles of water before 10 AM. But the staff in general were useless would not recommend this hotel at all.
Lovely Week at Paradise Bay
We have just returned from a week all inclusive stay at Paradise Bay Resort and we are struggling to understand some of the poor reviews given by some reviewers. Firstly our room had a lovely view over the pool and bay. The room was large and spotlessly clean, although the beds were not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated but again spotless. The shower is over the bath but had plenty of power and hot water. A bottle of water was provided in our room when we arrived and if we needed more we got bottles from the bar. There was also a mini fridge in the room together with coffee and tea facilities. The main restaurant was large and could be a little noisy/echoey giving it a bit of a canteen feel. However the food was very good and plentiful. There was a good variety of choices at breakfast lunch and dinner. By the way people were piling food on their plates there seemed to be something to suit everybody. The main pool particularly in the mornings was very quiet with no loud music playing. The pool was in good condition although some of the sunshades needed some attention. We found the staff helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was easy and the reception area was spotless. All in all if you want a quiet week away as we did we would recommend it. Ideal location if you want visit Gozo as the ferry is 5 mins walk away and is great value for money.
Another day in paradise
We had a great time at Paradise Bay. There was a mix up at check in but this was soon rectified. The staff are first class, no problem is too much trouble. Harold at the bar is a star. The rooms are kept very clean as are all of the communal areas. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance when we were there but the other pools were fine. We only had breakfast as we were not full board but this was of a good standard.
