Large family hotel, well run with excellent facilities. Staff are helpful (particularly Inze from housekeeping). Food good with plenty of choice. Only disappointment was no night porters or help for older people to navigate slope to reach hotel after being dropped off by transfer coach.
We went for a day by the pool. The kids had an awesome time and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Service received at the restaurant by Dilip and Jonathan was great, they greeted us warmly. Overall it was a fun day for all the family.
This is a massive hotel with over 500 rooms, but you certainly don’t feel it’s crowded. The main swimming pool is huge and never feels like you haven’t got space for an inflatable or a ball game. There are plenty of sun beds and no stupid rush in the morning (unless you want to be right next to the pool edge) .The restaurants can be busy but there’s plenty of good food with great varieties. The highlight for family fun is the Animation Team who do the daily classes for adults and activities for children, they really are great.
We came on 01/09 till 09/09, so have one more day left.
Our first time in Malta. We have not enjoyed our experience at the hotel as much as we were expecting.
I would not review it as 4 star hotel.
Visited this hotel for our wedding anniversary in 2023 and decided to go back aain this year 2026, it is extremely busy and wished we had gone a few weeks later, but we still had a lovely time. The Staff are extremely helpful and really lovely people, a big shout our to Karen on reception who checked us in and found us a room overlooking the sea, also for the lovely bottle of red wine they gave us in our room for our wedding anniversary, it was a lovely touch. Thank you. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the beach and sea. On odd occasions the cleaning wasn't done properly as because of the beach we bought sand back and it wasn't swept up, also coffee cups used weren't washed or replaced, so left dirty. Another time, the bed wasn't finished being made completly, I think this was a day a man was cleaning the room, not our usual girl. I would suggest they put a long handled dustpan and brush in eash room for people to sweep up, as it got in the bed everywhere. On our last day, they took the towels and only left 2 when there should have been 4. There are about 7 restaurants, some you have to book others you don't, The Olive Terrace is a beautiful setting with fairy lights etc, and the chinese restaurnat was beautiful food, compliments to the chefs. We found the Coral restaurant too much, so busy and loud, we went to the Laguna for breakfast and lunch. the pools were lovely as is the beach opposite. Drinks are lovely and plentiful, take your own plastic cups with a lid to keep the bugs away. Otherwise you have to pay 2 euros for a plastic dup during the day to re use then get your euros back at the end of each day. The pool towels are 10 euros per towel, you can change as much as you like and then at the end of your holiday you return and get your money back. The buses are cheap and regular, never a problem getting one and you can go all over the place. All in all a lovely holiday, albeit very hot, and we would return in a few years time.
