Hotel Maritim and spa mellieauh
Location good for public transport. The rooms are very basic and didn't like the fact that overlooked street. Very expensive hotel for what I consider very basic room

Absolutely stunning 😍
Absolutely stunning hotel in a great location with beautiful views. The staff are lovely and friendly. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was so much choice on the breakfast buffet it definitely caters for everyone. Hotel has numerous pools one inside, one outside for family's and a rooftop one for adults. The rooftop restaurant was amazing and did oriental theme nights. Beautiful views and tasty food. Hotel is very close to restaurants but is a little quiet town on the hill. If you want the beach it is about 20 to 25 minute walk down a steep winding hill so if your hard of walking isn't for you. There is loads of public transport around and only costs €2 to the beach, valetta or nearby busier town bugibba. Overall definitely recommend and would visit again

Nice hotel in a beautiful village
We had a very good stay at the Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, and the hotel was very clean throughout. The food was also good, with plenty of choice, and the rooftop pool was a real plus, especially in the evening — a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. The outdoor pool was also nice, although it can get a little lively with children running around. The rooftop pool was definitely our favourite for a more relaxing atmosphere. We really liked the Mellieħa location. It's quieter and feels less touristy than some other parts of Malta, while still being a great base for exploring the island. It is a little further from Valletta, but this wasn't a problem at all as Malta's public transport is excellent, with regular and convenient bus connections. We didn't have a car during our stay and managed to get around very easily. Our only disappointment was the unclear information about the pool opening time. The hotel information sheet said the pool opened at 10am, but this actually referred to the pool bar, not the pool itself. We could have enjoyed the pool earlier in the morning before heading out, so clearer information would have been appreciated. Overall, a very good hotel with excellent service, friendly staff and a great location. We would happily stay again.

Fabulous Hotel
We booked this hotel, primarily due to the number of positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. Probably one of the best hotels we've stayed and hard to criticise or find fault.
Perfect rooftop adults only pool with ample sun loungers and a lovely terrace bar & restaurant. We had an evening meal on the terrace and watched the sunset over the bay. The staff, several of whom are nepalese, cannot be faulted. Polite, respectful and totally professional and the food was excellent.
We had a junior suite with garden view on the 4th floor. The room was large, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Absolutely no road noise and very peaceful at night. We cannot comment on those rooms that overlook the main road at the front. The balcony is small but provides for 2 chairs and a table. Partial side view of the bay in the distance.
Great location and bus stops are outside. Approximately 1 hr to Valetta when roads busy, however Bolt & Uber very reasonably priced.
Turning right when you leave the hotel, you will find a number of great restaurants with outside seating in nice surroundings. Numerous restaurants elsewhere, including convenience stores and ' fast food' businesses.
Thank you to all staff, especially rooftop terrace, breakfast room and housekeeping.
