Best stay ever
We enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Lure Hotel, a stylish boutique in Mellieħa’s main square. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful views of the city from the rooftop bar and the infinity pool. The staff were remarkably welcoming and attentive; they remembered our names before check-in and greeted us with smiles. Rabi and Oumaima offered a warm welcome each morning and were extremely accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location suited exploring the nearby beaches (within a 15-minute drive) and catching the ferry to Comino and Gozo. Several excellent restaurants with outdoor seating were within walking distance. We recommend dining at the hotel’s restaurant, the Core, which was outstanding. George, the maître d’, had the best recommendations to enjoy the menu and local wine. We particularly liked the complimentary breakfast, which included a three-tier platter with baked goods, meats and cheeses, and fresh fruit. Could not recommend it enough! If I could take the hotel and staff with me on every vacation I would.
An excellent adults only boutique hotel
We stayed at the adults only Lure Hotel & Spa in Mellieha, Malta from 14th to 21st September.
Oumaima, Malcolm and Rabi came across as professional and very friendly. Nothing was a problem for them.
The room was spacious and airy and looked after very well by Zahra. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the Church and Square was a highlight.
The indoor pool, steam room and spa was a big plus. The breakfast was excellent with both continental and cooked available (in the one sitting).
It is a lovely hotel with the highest class of finishes. We highly recommend it.

A Malta Must-Do!
If you have a car, then the Lure Hotel is to be recommended. Supremely comfortable rooms, with air con We had a Juliette balcony which was nice. The hotel food was really top notch, especially the breakfast. this was our first time in Malta and i was so pleased to be in Mellieha, away from the chaos of Valetta: close to Gozo and near the best beaches on the island.

Perfect luxurious hotel!
This is a gem of a hotel. Welcoming and friendly. Large luxurious rooms. We had a hot tub on the balcony which was so amazing to sit in during the evening. Breakfast is amazing - like a personal buffet at your table with the option of a selection of cooked dishes. Everything perfectly presented. The basement pool and steam room are excellent, and nothing feels crowded as it is a small hotel. The rooftop pool needed to be booked, but again, a relaxing and chilled space. The only thing it lacked was bar service by the rooftop pool. Easy walk down to the beach at Mellieha, and a slightly more strenuous walk back up, but good exercise to work off all the calories eaten at breakfast! Interesting WW2 tunnels museum in the town. Would love to come here again!

Calm accommodation, luxury feel
Out of all the hotels we went through, this one was one of the best ones. A welcoming, private and clean space with kind and always available staff fulfilling your every need. From delicious freshly baked pastries for breakfast to freshly caught local fish for dinner, this hotel is a culinary sensation as well. We will definitely come back again. This place is perfect for couples or those, who seek privacy and quiet in malta.
