Be nice when it's finished.
I informed reception within 10 minutes that I wasn't happy with my room & I asked to be moved - I was happy to upgrade. The reply was, ' the hotel is full, you booked a standard suite and that's what you have, it's not possible'. No attempt was made to look at changing my room. The next day I spoke to someone on my flight who made the same request - he was moved immediately - because he was part of a couple? I asked about cancellations over the next couple of days without success. The Jet2 rep was Zero help. Towards the end of my holiday I saw a superior suite was available through Expedia. When I enquired through their WhatsApp concierge, 'we don't have any standard suits' I reminded them I'm happy to upgrade - no reply, ignored. As for the hotel, it's fine at the front but, pass through the, 'Twighlight' area and you step back 20 years. Rooftop area was ok.

We had a fabulous time at the Luna. It’s very stylish. Great reception area and even better rooftop pool.
The hotel is spotlessly clean.
We had food by the pool and also in the restaurant. Very high quality and great attention to detail helping us celebrate a special birthday for a family member.
Big shout out to Joseph who assisted us from the start booking multiple rooms and went above and beyond. Also to Raj in the downstairs bar. Great asset to the hotel.
Both bars (pool and downstairs) ran a tight ship with quick attentive and friendly service.
We’ll definitely be back !!

fantastic complex
We had a wonderful stay overall. Unfortunately, one evening there was a power cut, and our room was without electricity throughout the night. Despite this, the staff were absolutely amazing. As one of only four affected rooms, we were invited to enjoy a complimentary dinner the following evening, which was a very thoughtful gesture from the manager and much appreciated.
The way the situation was handled really reflected the excellent customer service we received throughout our stay. Other than the power cut, everything was fantastic, and we had a lovely, relaxing holiday. We would happily stay here again.

Great holibobs
What can I say ,first time in Malta (won’t be the last ) had a great time. the luna is lovely ,the staff are amazing always polite and very friendly (shout out to presica on reception first contact when we arrived such a lovely lady) The breakfast is first class plentiful and a very good choice from cereal to cooked hot food The rooms are very big and spacious and the bed very comfortable everything you need for a decent holiday As for the roof top pool and bar it’s first class the large jacuzzi was great just to chill chat If your looking for a great beach and not a 5 minute walk from the hotel then mellieha beach is perfect in every way ,very shallow and warm great for the little ones Overall we had a great stay and will be going back at some point in time I would advice anyone who asks to go to the luna it’s great P.s if you do go hire a car and go over to Gozo the ferry port is 10 mins by car ,it’s an amazing island and worth 2 days
