The Riviera Spa Resort is situated in one of the best-preserved and picturesque areas in the north of Malta, in a tranquil seafront location, facing the islands of Comino and Gozo across a channel of blue shimmering water - simply idyllic!
The Carisma Spa offers a soothing escape from every day’s life, with relaxing beauty and wellness treatments inspired by thalasso therapy. In this indulgent atmosphere, complete with luxurious spa facilities such as sauna, steam room*, thalasso pool, cold room and indoor pool, guests can relax, rejuvenate and revive body and mind. The sauna, indoor pool and fitness centre comes complimentry for all guests.
En-suite rooms are bright and airy and all have a private balcony or terrace with country views. The Riviera Spa Resort is ideal for exploring the islands with the Gozo ferry being only two bus stops away. Boats to Comino are available from the quay in the front of the Hotel (summer months only). Malta's largest blue flag sandy beach and the town of Mellieha are also just a few bus stops away. A regular public bus service connects the hotel to other towns including the capital Valletta a World Heritage City, the fortified Medieval city of Mdina, the Three Cities and Grand Harbour area, the shopping and entertainment meccas of Sliema and St Julian's.

Excelente attention
I was having dinner at the osteria with my friends and I received excellent attention from Yolima, always attentive to what I needed, the cocktails and attention from Gunther were very nice, then we were on the promenade where Kausik attended us gave us an excellent service, we will be back soon.
Lovely stay start to finish
This was my first time in Malta, and first stay at the Riviera, adults only spa resort. The staff made the stay incredibly enjoyable for me and my family!
We had an amazing morning walk to historic landmarks and to the lagoon with Antoinne. He also provided fitness entertainment by the pool and made the trip very fun.
Live music and dance performances in the evening as the sun set over the Maltese coast.
Delicious food buffet with a large selection to choose from.
Attentive service from Mateshwari, Bari, Himanshu, Eunice & Priyanka in particular.
Deep tissue massage in the spa (Carisma Spa & Wellness) with Darsi, helped a lot with an old sports injury.
If you have any issues or questions you can go to Kamila, who was very helpful and resourceful!
Also, the rooms and public spaces were all extremely clean and tidy. And this venue made for a great holiday from home. Highly recommend and would come again.
Holiday letdown.
We found the hotel in general in need of a better attention to cleaning. The food was very much the same every night. Nice views from our room Not much to do as the location a bit remote. The pool not big enough, after 10am hard to find sunbeds. As all inclusive guests lots of rules went and what is included,treated as second to pay as you go guest. Will not be returning.
Will not be returning
Went to the Riviera spar with our son and daughter in-law asked to be near each other was put in a family room my sons room was like a cupboard although we had separate bookings the views lovely the floors were very dirty our in our rooms,had to keep phoning down for towels which was annoying the food in the buffet was not good lots of theme nights with lots of stews and pork no alternatives one night they had chicken it was so hard you could not get your fork in it we complained and and was told that’s how it came in. If you are thinking of going all inclusive don’t you are treated different to paying guests you are supposed to get snacks round the pool was given a large menu then give a small one with about five things on it and told the small one was the all inclusive one the paying guests could get food from 12 but we could not order until 2.30 the pool very tired looking the blue paint came off ruined two pairs of of my husbands shorts which I took photos of the only member of staff that was friendly was sumit in the dining room hope I have said this right .Was very hard to get drinks in the day a bit better in the night the pool opened at about 10 could not get towels most days till about 12 we have been to Malta twice before before and had a wonderful time .
