The Riviera Spa Resort is situated in one of the best-preserved and picturesque areas in the north of Malta, in a tranquil seafront location, facing the islands of Comino and Gozo across a channel of blue shimmering water - simply idyllic!
The Carisma Spa offers a soothing escape from every day’s life, with relaxing beauty and wellness treatments inspired by thalasso therapy. In this indulgent atmosphere, complete with luxurious spa facilities such as sauna, steam room*, thalasso pool, cold room and indoor pool, guests can relax, rejuvenate and revive body and mind. The sauna, indoor pool and fitness centre comes complimentry for all guests.
En-suite rooms are bright and airy and all have a private balcony or terrace with country views. Facilities include seasonal air conditioning / heating, bathroom with shower (bath available on request and subject to availability), free Wi-Fi, coffee / tea maker, hairdryer, safe deposit box, TV with international channels. A selection of room upgrades are available at a supplement.
The Hotel also has a SSI certified Diving School*, the expert diving instructors provide guided dives, SSI certification courses, and equipment rentals.
The Riviera Spa Resort is ideal for exploring the islands with the Gozo ferry being only two bus stops away. Boats to Comino are available from the quay in the front of the Hotel (summer months only). Malta's largest blue flag sandy beach and the town of Mellieha are also just a few bus stops away. A regular public bus service connects the hotel to other towns including the capital Valletta a World Heritage City, the fortified Medieval city of Mdina, the Three Cities and Grand Harbour area, the shopping and entertainment meccas of Sliema and St Julian's.

First time in Malta
My husband and I have just spent 9 nights at this lovely hotel. We wanted to send our heartfelt thanks to the entire team of staff for their kindness care and compassion. My husband sustained an injury before travelling to the hotel and we had concerns how he would manage with his wheelchair and crutches around the hotel. The entire team could not have been more kind and supportive, everyone just went out their way to help us.
The hotel is perfect for wheelchair users, my husband could get around the room easily/navigate lifts and travel out to the pool/restaurant areas.
Lovely location to base in Malta to go off sight seeing.
The cleanliness was excellent, food delicious with lots of choice with good amenities.
There were some excursions we couldn't make this time but we look forward to coming back and visiting the hotel again!
Thank you to all the wonderful team...Gazi and Manni were such a joy and made us smile, but honestly the entire team were amazing 👏 😀

Wonderful place to stay!
We were with husband in August-September 2026 and really enjoyed the staying. We would sincerely recommend the hotel.
The place. With a beautiful view, no towns, no rush. Bus stop in the near, you can also order a taxi. You can reach 3 beaches, Islands Gozo and Camino, City of Valetta and Mielleha district.
Room. We had a standard room, with enough space, bequem beds, coffee, tea, tv, air conditioning and bathroom. Only one thing: we would like to have more light in bathroom. The hotel works for a long time but looks really good, fresh and clean.
Food and drinks. Tasty and different dishes, sweets, always fresh, everyone will find for ones own taste what to eat. Drinks and cocktails are also good, except coffee at breakfast, for us was not really like a coffee but all other drinks at the territory are super.
What to do, stuff. There are so many things to do, the whole day you can be occupied with plays, walks, concerts etc. Special thanks to Antonie, he is a good arranger and always can turn people on. And we can say all the stuff is wonderful, works great, everyone is always ready to help, very polite and friendly.
We can mention only two things to make better. Fitness studio reload, because the fitness equipment is really old and a little bit complicated. And if it's possible, to make a small beach at the sea, would be also great.
We are thankful for our beautiful stay and your wonderful work!

We had a lovely stay at Riviera Spa Resort and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms, spa, swimming pool, restaurants, and beautiful surroundings. A special thank you to Karan, Sabita, Priyanka, and the entire reception desk team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and excellent service throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the resort and look forward to coming back!
Birthday Short Break At The Riviera Spa Resorts Hotelnights & had everything
Arrived at lunchtime after an early morning Flight , Met by a friendly receptionist who offered us a very welcoming cool drink . To our suprise although our room wasnt ready we were allowed to use all of the All inclusive options at the hotel . We stayed on the fourth floor and had a lovely view over the bay & of Comino ,Goza. The room was spacious ,very clean as was the bathroom . We ate at the Buffet that evening which hosted themed evenings and had a variety and tastes to most people . The service at the hotel was excellent ,the staff always helpful ,proffesional & polite . We had lunch most days in the bar area which also had a good menu ,lovley cocktails and snacks. The beach area was rocky in front of the hotel but the water crystal clear with plenty of fish for snokellers . The hotel location was a little isolated but the bus stop was just around the corner and taxis were reasonably priced . A speicial thanks to Sabita at reception for going above on beyond , the staff at the pool bar who made the most delicious cocktails during our stay . A few little niggles the pool floor was a little uneven ,blue paint flecks coming away, nothing really worth mentioning , We didnt try the alacarte restaraunts as they were an additional cost so we cant comment on them , Overall had a very good Holiday at a lovely Hotel where the staff made our stay extra speicial ,Thankyou to you all.
