We are looking forward to welcoming you!
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
With the busy island of Malta as a reference, Gozo truly is a bliss, such tranquility.
With the pictures of the hotel, and the reviews we saw, we were expecting a bit more. Not that it's bad, but we expected it to be different.
Plastic flowers hanging from chandeliers we did not expect, there must be other design options to choose from.
Staff was friendly, and attentive & we found the room to be very spacious, overlooking the pool area. A mattress topper for two single beds is always a winner.
We know it wasn't yet the high season, but when we heard we could have dinner until eight thirty'ish we decided to have a bite somewhere else. Kind of a disappointment.
Breakfast for us was sufficient, especially after the lovely dinner we had (again, this was regretfully not at this hotel). It wasn't as opulent as other hotels offer, but we enjoyed it.
The hotel is nice, but we expected more.
In the reception the staff was very rude and not helpful.
Really enjoyed our stay room was excellent , clean and friendly staff especially the owner Irene. A complimentary Prosecco was in our room as I have asked for a little surprise for my husband s birthday
It was an enjoyable experience, with cosy rooms, tranquility and very friendly staff Beautiful scenery cleanliness and well staffed
Will surely return again Chantelle galea
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for nine nights with breakfast included. While there were some positives, unfortunately several issues meant the experience fell well below our expectations.
On both the first and last day of our stay, we were unable to access the pool due to construction work. Although we appreciated being offered complimentary drinks on the first day as an apology, it was still disappointing, especially as the hotel advertises itself as a peaceful countryside retreat. In reality, quiet was quite rare due to the ongoing work.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was genuinely the poorest hotel breakfast either of us has experienced. My partner ordered scrambled eggs, but they appeared to have been made by simply chopping up a pre-cooked fried egg rather than being freshly prepared. We also encountered bones in the bacon, which was both unpleasant and concerning. Improving the quality of the food would have made a huge difference to our overall holiday experience.
The pool area itself was also quite small, with limited space around it, so it became very crowded during the day.
Our room had a couple of issues too. The television repeatedly switched itself on during the night, particularly on our last evening, which disrupted our sleep. We also suspected on a few occasions that our used towels had simply been folded and put back rather than replaced during housekeeping.
That said, there were several things we really liked. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the view from our room was stunning—when it wasn’t interrupted by the construction crane. The hotel was kept clean, and the cocktails were reasonably priced and enjoyable.
Overall, this hotel has plenty of potential thanks to its location and excellent staff. However, the construction work, disappointing breakfast, and a few housekeeping and maintenance issues meant our stay wasn’t as relaxing or enjoyable as we had hoped. Please improve the food above all else—it would have transformed our holiday experience for the better.
