The Tal Fanal apartments are based in the village of Ghasri – a wonderfully secluded spot. It's a perfect holiday scene – the rustic stone walls, the big expansive outdoor pool and the ring of trees that maintain this private oasis.

The Tal Fanal apartments have been beautifully converted, but retain their original rustic charm. The style owes a lot to the classic Maltese Gozitan farmhouse style – complete with stone arches and wooden beams. It really is a very beautiful development, and it's set in such an idyllic location too.
Stepping inside your private maisonette, you'll find a wonderfully appointed, very comfortable residence that's full of local charm. The bedrooms are immaculate – all beautifully tiled and stylishly furnished. The family size sitting room is a place to gather and relax and reflect on another perfect day.
One and two bedroom apartments are available at Tal Fanal, accommodating between two and five people. Each features a lounge with two divan beds, a dining table and chairs. The kitchen comes with a four ring gas hob, oven and fridge. Both sizes of apartment come with a furnished terrace, and it's a lovely place to sit out and take in the sun.
A lovely additional touch is the free welcome pack that is provided for you on arrival. This includes a nice selection of groceries, so you can prepare a meal easily when you arrive.
When you stay at the Tal Fanal, you can happily spend your days in and around the splendid outdoor swimming pool – it's such a beautiful spot – your own little island paradise.

A reasonable stay in Gozo.
My family (myself, my wife, my daughter aged 3 yrs and my son aged 1 and a half) stayed at Tal-Frenc Apartments (part of Tal-Fanal Apartments complex) between 5 and 8 September 2015. The number of our apartment was 34. The positive things about our stay: the apartment is literally huge, has very nice big balcony (terrace) with countryside views (overlooking the pool area) and has a good cable TV connection with good channels for the kids (i.e. Baby TV, Boomerang, Cartoonito, etc). The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Although there are no ACs, the kitchen and the bedrooms have ceiling fans. If they are set on the highest power they do the job reasonably well. The negative things: upon our arrival a ceiling fan was not working, or so I thought. I called the owner (as the reception is closed on weekends) and he promised me that he would be bringing an electric fan later on in the evening. He never bothered to come. Luckily the problem with the ceiling fan was only in the switch (a turning knob) and we managed to get it working. One big negative thing is the very low pressure in the bathroom's water supply. Whereas the kitchen sink's water supply is fine, the water in the bathrooms (both the sink and the bath) is very slow and when the geyser is on, the "hot" water is reduced to a trickle. We took almost an hour to fill the bath. To be fair, on our third day of our stay, the supply improved significantly. This may be due to the fact that less residents were making use of the apartment's water supply. Whatever the reason, the owner should fix this issue by installing water pumps. It would be extremely annoying in winter having to bath in icy cold water. Also, wifi reception in the public areas was very weak and there is no wifi in the apartments. My advice to the owner: introduce Wi-fi in the apartments, man the reception on a more frequent basis and install water pumps and you'll surely get 4-5 star reviews for this place!

we loved it
We stayed here for 10 days, my parents live in Gozo we did not want to stay with them as we had 2 young children with us, so we booked into Tal-Fanal apartments. The Apartments where clean and a good size, the outdoor space was good for the children and also had use of the pool. My partner, myself and our 5 year old son have booked to go back to Tal-fanal apartments for the 09 May 2019 as we liked it so much

Great R&R
Absolutely Fab. A quiet relaxing much needed break. Busy but not intrusive. It was like a “getting away from it all”. Yet bus/Bolt taxi service prompt. Local taxis much more expensive to get around and they don’t take card?!. Pool area class
Just a wonderful, peaceful holiday
We stayed last October and again this April for 9 Nights. Once again absolutely wonderful. All staff amazing, Maje, and the other girls in office on-site soo professional, friendly and caring. We hoping to be back again . Bus service very convenient and close to get to.
Recoup and rewind .
Back again, third time. As always a haven of peace, tranquility & comfort for the 10 days. Meet & Greet pleasant and welcoming. Not for anyone looking for a busy social life but that too is available only a bus ride away. Thanks again folks. Will be back
