Hotel is in a good location, it's quiet and close to the sea. The best things about the resort were definitely personel and the food. There was enough space by the pool, reception worked all night. Room was clean and comfy. The only minor flaw was shower cabinet, which could be cleaned better. We had a very good time and went back with batteries charged up :)
At Selyria Resort we had the most fantastic season! Nice and kind staff, cooperative people, delicious food, unsurpassed in taste sweets, but the most important was the Dutch Amazing Guests! Thank you Selyria for hosting! Will be back soon...
comfortable - very large and comfortable beds, clean, rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. Resort with very good food, fresh and varied, lots of Greek dishes such as moussaka and baklava, something new every day. Drinks served in disposable plastic, which is a big plus for me, because in my opinion washed plastic dishes are disgusting. Resort located in a quiet part of Tsilivi, 300m away from the sandy clean part of the beach, with resort sunbeds very stable and very comfortable. Beach bar open only until the end of September. Water in the pools clean, on one day more warm, on another cold. Resort with very quiet music, no animation, etc. for me ideal - pure relaxation. Minuses - poorly designed floor in the rooms - covered with pallets instead of tiles, hence soaked from the shower in some places, dangerous. A lot of flies, especially when it rains, which is normal, but I think it's also because in general, in my opinion, Zakhyntos is not the cleanest place - I mean garbage in ditches, etc. sidewalks, streets are clean. Generally we recommend if someone need a silence .Hotel overcrowded with Dutch people.
The hotel has a good size, is not overcrowded, is comfortable, the rooms are clean and the food is perfect. The downsides are that the owner allegedly allows smoking in the bar area when closed during the evening and the showers suffer from leaking into the rooms. Also the beach bar is closed.
Went to Selyria June 2026 as a couple
Overall would definitely say it is not a 5star hotel, probably more of a 3star.
Room was nice and clean, pool was nice, and food was good for breakfast/lunch.
The reasons it didn’t feel like a 5 star: Poor customer service - bar staff and welcome staff were not warm and were very moody, not helpful for all inclusive. No report built and acted like a chore to make drinks for an all inclusive.
Drinks were non branded alcohol, wouldn’t expect this from 5star.
They close the bar at 11pm and switch off all the lights and kick everyone out!! Not even to finish your drinks.
We were promised a gym on site, when arrived there was no gym, and when asked for discount on other gyms non were given.
Simple requests like taxis and utilities were not accepted or welcomed.
Overall the stay wasn’t bad but definitely not the 5 star experience we hoped, in fact we went out for dinner in the town most nights due to the service.
