- Lesante Classic Luxury Hotel and Spa

This beach hotel is located in a quiet part of the resort of Tsilivi, surrounded by olive groves and the green hills of Acrotiri. The crystal-clear beach is just a 1-minute walk away and has been awarded a Blue Flag for its cleanliness. This luxury hotel was built in 2009 and is one of the few residences on Zakynthos to offer a high level of service. With only 90 rooms, exclusivity is guaranteed and the hotel successfully combines luxury with cosiness. Guests are invited to wine and dine in the café, bar or restaurant. A children's playground, wireless Internet access and a car park are also available. The state-of-the-art SPA area is a must for guests who wish to experience true relaxation. It includes a hairdressing salon, a beautician, hot tub, heated indoor pool, sauna and hammam. A gym with personal trainer assistance is provided for guests who wish to keep fit.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Tasos Vincent All very polite and attentive All the staff are friendly happy and go above and beyond . Nothing is too much trouble
Booked Lesante Classic for ten nights as a family group of 8 and came away wishing we'd stayed longer. What makes it work is the people — warm, genuinely pleased to help, and consistent every single day..
Housekeeping was faultless. The room was immaculate on arrival and stayed that way for the whole stay, and the rest of the property is just as spotless — pools included.
Food was a highlight rather than an afterthought. Breakfast has enough variety that we never tired of it across ten mornings,
Location suits adults well: ten minutes into Tsilivi for bars and restaurants, but far enough back to stay quiet. The adults-only pool is a nice escape from the family side, and the airport is fifteen minutes away.
Only observation would be more daily activities like yoga to be on offer
No complaints after ten nights, which is rare. We'd recommend
We’ve had a fantastic stay at Lesante.
Very efficient and friendly staff. Special thanks to Tasos and Aida, and the rest of the crew
Good selection at breakfast buffet, with a menu as well with additional freshly cooked options
Very good food at the restaurant too, and the Greek night was soo much fun - highly recommend attending
Our room and the pool were kept very clean throughout
The location is good, quiet but very close to the beach and restaurants in town
Overall 5/5 - would definitely recommend!
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is well located, very close to the beach, has good facilities, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful.
We would especially like to mention the breakfast staff during our stay. They were absolutely wonderful — always extremely attentive, friendly and welcoming. Their service really stood out and made a very positive difference to our experience.
That said, for a 5-star hotel, there are several areas that we feel need improvement.
While the staff are friendly, the overall service could be more attentive and personalised to guests’ needs. At this level, we would expect a little more attention to detail and a more proactive approach to service.
One particularly frustrating issue is the situation around the pool. Almost every sunbed is “reserved” with towels before breakfast. It is quite ridiculous to see a completely empty swimming pool area with virtually every sunbed occupied by nothing but a towel. The hotel should really have a policy in place to prevent this. Personally, we are beach people, so it did not affect us too much, but it certainly does not reflect well on a 5-star hotel.
Another downside is that, despite being so close to the beach, the hotel does not have its own designated beach area. Guests therefore have to use independent beach concessions and pay separately for sunbeds and umbrellas, which can become quite expensive over several days. For a 5-star hotel in this location, having its own beach area or at least an arrangement for hotel guests would be a significant improvement.
Regarding dinner, I actually really like the concept of having an à la carte service rather than a traditional buffet. I think it is a great idea and potentially makes the dining experience feel more refined. However, the menu is far too limited. The available choices are often based around a specific theme, which makes the lack of variety even more noticeable. If the theme or the dishes offered that evening are not to your taste, there are very few alternatives to choose from. A broader selection of more neutral or classic options alongside the themed dishes would make a huge difference.
Unfortunately, the gym was by far the most disappointing part of the hotel. As someone who actually uses the gym while on holiday, I found it very poor for a hotel of this standard. The air conditioning does not work properly, the equipment is old and outdated, and there are not even towels available. It is definitely an area that urgently needs attention and renovation.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and there is a lot to like about the hotel, particularly its location, general facilities and lovely staff. However, there are several details that prevent the experience from truly feeling 5-star. With some improvements to the service, pool management, dining options, beach facilities and especially the gym, this could be a much better 5-star experience.
