The most amazing hotel, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Just to prove it we were less than 48 hours into our stay and rebooked for next year. We stayed for 10 nights in a garden suite, gorgeous large room, completely private. Have booked the same room for next year. The food was always amazing, the drinks were excellent quality. The grounds are beautiful and so clean. A lovely view from the gym for my morning workouts. The walk into the village is only 10 minutes, same to the beach. It’s in a brilliant location and has stunning views. Couldn’t fault a thing. Apart from the hotel being absolutely stunning what really makes this hotel is the staff. They were all so lovely, friendly and wish I could name them all individually. A huge thankyou to George, such a character and now a friend, breakfast would not be the same without him. Till next year, would love to see all the same faces on our return. We had the best 10 days.
Second visit just as great
We stayed for a second time during the first week in October having been very impressed with the hotel during our first stay.We were delighted to find that the hotel had remained as good as during our first visit . On arrival we were warmly greeted with a drink and warm flannels and shown to our room which had a partial sea view as last year. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and a mini fridge which was restocked every day.The balcony was a good size with a table and excellent view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned spotlessly every day with a change of bedding and towels. The main restaurant had excellent food with a different country theme every night all freshly prepared with chefs on hand .The chilled salad room is very impressive and we were able to chose your wine from a list as part of our all inclusive package Breakfast was a highlight and I always looked forward to one of extrovert George’s omelettes There are 2 excellent à la carte restaurants -one providing Peruvian cuisine-which you can book via their app again very good There were always plenty of sunbeds with a quiet peaceful ambience round the pools and slightly higher ones near the hydro pool which are useful if you have mobility problems. As well as the pool bar there is a drinks service round most of the other pools . There are lifts to the first floor bedrooms and down to the restaurant so no need to use stairs if you struggle with them.The hotel is on a hill about 10minutes from the town and 20 from the beach but the reception staff will arrange taxis if necessary and they also arranged a tour excursion for us . Night entertainment in the cocktail bar is low key- usually solo instrumentalists- usually in keeping with the relaxed ambience of the hotel. Best to go into town if you want more. The main standout feature of the hotel is the excellent staff so helpful ,friendly and knowlegeable-from the the restaurant to the bar staff and reception- absolutely great .Nothing is too much trouble -I messed up the code on the room safe and they sorted it immediately . Thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to go a third time
Best holiday ever
I actually don't know where to start.From the private transfer from tui at the airport then to get an upgrade to a swim up room as soon as we got to the hotel.The view from the room was excellent overlooking the sea and to wake up in the morning with a view like that was a great start to the day. This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in,the cleanliness is faultless,the staff are second to none,the food variety and tastes were superb and the quality of drinks available on the all inclusive were also superb.A few wee mentions for the staff,,Ernest for his chats and service,Desiree,Angela and you can't forget Mr George who every morning greets you like hes welcoming you into his home and cooking you breakfast.Hes made for hospitality with his energy and relaxing manner it just helps your stay here even more. So all in all it's 5 stars from my wife and I. So if your looking for good food,drink and service then I would highly recommend the king jason zante to you.. The only two things I would have a negative vibe to are the location is up a steep hill and the night time entertainment. Nothing the hotel can do about the hill..but the entertainment could be worked on.

What a place! I cannot praise this hotel enough. We were welcomed with home made lemonade and cool towels, then given a tour so that we could get our bearings. We stayed in a standard room with a sea view and balcony which also looked out over the pools. There are full size toiletries in the room, a stocked fridge, and each evening they delivered more water and a sweet treat. The service and attention to detail here is wonderful. It’s waiter service at the pool. When you arrive you are served an ice bucket with a bottle of fresh water in, which can be topped up anytime, and there are towels to use too. The restaurants serve amazing food, one is the buffet (which is not an average buffet) and there are two speciality restaurants that you need to book. Go to both. Twice if you can. We had massages at the spa which were wonderful. The beds are comfy, the sun loungers are comfy, the pool glistens, the drinks are flowing, the staff are marvellous, the food is delicious (did I already say that😁). I could go on and on. It’s fabulous.

Beautiful Hotel Grest staff but...
Went as a couple Sept 26. Got a deluxe swim up room. 20 mins from airport and planes fly over a lot !! Didn't bother us too much but may for some. The room was lovely but we were right at the back of the property. It got the sun til early afternoon but there are no bars over this way to get drinks so we really didn't use it much. We tended to go the main pools where waitress service is included. Breakfast lunch and dinner at the buffet..been to king jason paphos and it's half the size and not as much choice however was all good quality. You can go to the haroub for lunch which is quite an extensive menu with pasta pizza club sandwich chips etc etc we went twice and it was good. The 2 a la carte are open alternative nights ..I didn't enjoy any of the food at pisco..I got steak and it was really chewy.. Haroub at night wasn't great for me..ie garlic prawns was the whole prawn with head and tail messy and not good for me..hubby loved it. We went out downtown one night beware a very steep hill..ok going down but hard walking back up...went for a meal in a local restaurant called the meating place was fabulous. We went into a local bar which was great fun..Elvis impersonator apparently..but was a good night. There is not much entertainment at the hotel.. a guitarist a keyboard player and a saxophone player alternative nights and all shuts down at 11pm. Overall was a beautiful peaceful hotel ..food was good and staff were excellent . Not sure if would rush back. One more point is Zante airport is the worst I've ever been to. There were queues from check in all up the stairs through duty free as only 5 desks at passport control were open and there were at least 5 flights going out within an hour or sonof each other. They had to take all passengers for Leeds to one side and lead them through passport control holding everyone else back or they'd have missed their flight..ours was next to Manchester and we literally got through with minutes to board. We then ended up in Leeds as an emergency at Manchester which was not great either but couldn't be helped. Got home 3 hours latr than expected.
