Ideally located in the prime touristic area of Tsilivi, Iakinthos Resort promises a relaxing and wonderful visit. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All the necessary facilities, including free Wi-Fi in all rooms, fax machine, taxi service, Wi-Fi in public areas, car park, are at hand. Each guestroom is elegantly furnished and equipped with handy amenities. The hotel offers various recreational opportunities. Iakinthos Resort combines warm hospitality with a lovely ambiance to make your stay in Zakynthos Island unforgettable.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Together with my husband, I spent a wonderful holiday at this hotel from July 8th to July 14th.
The hotel is located right on the beach. You simply walk down four or five steps from the restaurant terrace, and you are immediately on the sandy beach, with the sea just a few meters away. The entrance into the water is gentle, with no stones, and the sea is crystal clear, warm, and beautifully turquoise. Sometimes there were waves, other times it was perfectly calm.
The hotel offers rooms in different categories. We chose one of the more affordable options, which was comfortably spacious and well equipped. Our ground-floor room had a private entrance from the outside of the hotel and a lovely terrace with a table, sofa, chairs, an awning, and a drying rack for towels.
We were especially impressed by the daily housekeeping. The lady who cleaned our room was responsible, discreet, polite, and very efficient. We left valuables and our wallets in the room without any concerns and experienced no problems at all.
The hotel staff—both the receptionists and the restaurant team—were exceptionally kind, warm-hearted, and incredibly hardworking. They were always ready to help with a smile and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Seeing their constant dedication, I found myself thinking that the manager should reward them generously. It is not easy to find people who are so committed to their work, and they truly deserve to be appreciated and retained as part of the team.
Besides the restaurant, the hotel terrace also features a beautiful lawn area with sun loungers, a swimming pool, and showers. Drinks and ice cream can be ordered there. The hotel provides complimentary sun loungers, both on the beach and by the pool.
The food at the restaurant is delicious, and the prices are comparable to those of the local tavernas.
The hotel also organizes themed evenings, such as a Saxophone Night and a Greek Music & BBQ Night. It offers excursions in cooperation with local agencies, including trips to Navagio Beach, Turtle Island, and the Blue Caves. As a lovely surprise, we were also treated to a complimentary yoga session on the beach.
Right next to the hotel, directly on the beach, there is a massage tent offering therapeutic, relaxation, pain-relief, and other types of massages. The therapists are true professionals, and the experience was excellent.
The tavernas and small shops in Tsilivi are only a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel.
In conclusion, we were extremely happy with our choice. We enjoyed wonderfully relaxing days filled with beautiful, happy moments. We definitely intend to return in the coming summers because we have simply fallen in love with this place and its wonderful team.
We stayed here for 4 nights, 2 adults and a 19 months old baby. We had one of our best beach holidays here. We stayed in 'Deluxe with Sea View' room. The view was amazing. The beach, the service, quality of food, everything was perfect. All the staff was very helpful. They made our stay very easy even with baby. It was also quite easy to walk directly from the hotel along the beach or towards the city center.
Just returned from a lovely week at this fantastic hotel. Only 34 rooms but they were lovely and above all else immaculately clean. Equally impressive were the staff. I recall a really nice chap at breakfast (sorry I cannot remember your name) and the first person to greet us upon arrival and throughout our stay, the wonderful Vickie. Thank you everyone and we may possibly return one day.
We stayed in a standard room and it was very basic As soon as you opened the door you were right in front of the large bed and there was only walking room around it for space. The fridge kept making a noise not enough to wake me up but annoying enough whilst awake. I would rate the room as basic 3 star accommodation. A bit disappointed as I paid for better. We stayed half board as it was the same price as b&b but did intend to eat out most nights. The food on the 1st night was ok but there was not a huge amount to choose from and sadly it did not vary much during our stay. Breakfast was also very basic and did not vary at all. We did visit during the end of the season and a lot of establishments had closed or were closing. Personally I would not come out this late again unless it was an absolute bargain which this was not. The staff and cleanliness was all very good. Maybe the other rooms that were larger or had a sea view offered a better experience but with the room I had and the food on offer I feel that it was more of a 3 star hotel. I did choose this hotel for its beach location which you cannot fault but overall I would rather stay somewhere else if I did return to zante.
From the moment we arrived, our experience at Iakinthos was nothing short of outstanding. It is located right on the beach with breathtaking views yet close to all amenities.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—professional yet personable, always ready to assist with a smile. Such lovely people.
We dined at the on-site restaurant several times and were consistently impressed. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.
We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Highly recommend.
