Disappointing and overpriced

Lesante Blu – Very Disappointing Experience
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, especially considering the price and the supposed 5-star standard.
The most concerning issue was a dead bird in the pool that was already visibly decomposing in the water. Despite this, nobody came to properly check the water quality or take appropriate action. For a hotel of this category, this is completely unacceptable and raised serious hygiene concerns for us.
The food at Melia was extremely disappointing and, in our opinion, not enjoyable at all. The room was very small with only a tiny couch, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and there were ants throughout the room. The shower also had a strong sulfur-like smell.
Breakfast was okay, but overall not at the level we would expect for this price. The beach is very small and the service there was disappointing as well.
Overall, the experience did not match the standard or price of the hotel, and unfortunately, we would not return.
The best vacation in Greece
We really enjoyed our stay at Lesante Blu! We had a room with a private pool and the most beautiful view, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very peaceful.
Breakfast was really nice with plenty of options, and Natalia was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome.
Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy Zakynthos. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it!

Owners of 5-star resort hotels, take note — your hotel is made or broken by your staff.
Lesante Blu already has everything you could ask for from a luxury resort: spectacular vistas, exceptional food and drink, and first-class facilities. But what elevates it from an excellent hotel to somewhere truly unforgettable is the people. It is the staff who bring everything together and make you feel that you are not simply staying at a hotel, but somewhere genuinely special.
And Lesante Blu has that distinction in abundance.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. Erica in reception — thank you for being so patient and helpful! — set the tone perfectly.
Our first visit to the beach introduced us to Thanasis, who will do his utmost to make sure you have everything you need, and Ravi, a true solution provider who deserves far more responsibility!
Then came the evenings at Osteria, where Vasiliki and Nicos consistently went above and beyond, while somehow making you feel less like a guest and more like part of the Lesante family — completely at home.
And finally, there was George, mixing first-class cocktails and providing the perfect end to each day. Quite simply, the template for the best barman you could ever hope to encounter!
It is these people who elevate an already exceptional hotel into somewhere that will live in our memories forever. Honestly, you cannot go wrong booking this hotel.
And a big thank you, too, to Lef, the happiest and most professional skipper we could ever have wished for!
I can only apologise for not mentioning every member of staff who had such a positive impact on our vacation. They are all unique, wonderful people who clearly take enormous pride in what they do.
To future guests: treat the staff well, and they will make you feel like the Greek Gods of old.

Missing clothes
Stayed here for a week at the end of August, the resort itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean and in a good location.
However when I was there an outfit went missing from my suitcase, I notified reception, for 3 days there was no word for said outfit. When I went back to reception on the third day and showed them a picture of the outfit, they came to me 15 minutes later to tell me housekeeping found the outfit on top of my safe. The same safe I was in and out of a few times everyday. I didn’t argue about it I was just glad it was returned.
When arriving home and emptying my suitcase I noticed another two dresses gone. This is not what I expect from a 5 star resort and for that reason I will not return. Many a 5 star resort I’ve stayed in and never had anything taking from my room. I think this resort needs to have a look at some of its staff

What a truly idyllic hotel. The setting is incredible, so beautiful. Everything about the hotel is perfect. The staff can’t do enough for you. I would particularly like to send my heart felt appreciation to Peggy Sue who was serving at breakfast every morning. Peggy’s infectious smile and positive attitude was so wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I can’t wait to go back next year x
