Ideal for beach vacationers, this hotel lies in Amboula, just a few steps from the sandy beach. There is a bus stop right next to the building. It is about 6 miles to Zakynthos (ZTH) Airport. The hotel has an elevator and features 161 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A laundry service and a lounge are available. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the parking lot. The standard amenities of some rooms include a balcony or terrace, providing extra room for relaxation. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable vacation. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I booked a back shoulder and neck massage and was lucky enough to be given Erida for the treatment. Erida made sure to check the pressure she was using was to my liking and it felt amazing. Thank you so much for helping me get my vacation off to a very relaxing start. I highly recommend the spa here as the team are all wonderful and I have a discount off a second treatment and will be sure to have another one before I go home. 🤩
My partner and I have just returned from a week at Aluasoul. We had a fabulous time! The hotel is lovely - very clean and tidy. The Reception team were so welcoming (particularly Joanna!) and always helpful with any queries we had (especially tips on where to see the World Cup games!). We had My Favorite Club, so our room had a beach view and was beautifully decorated, clean and with a stocked fridge, wine and bathrobes and slippers. Food in the buffet restaurant was varied and delicious. We did eat in the Al a Carte once but preferred the buffet to be honest! Evening entertainment was mixed but there were a couple of amazing acts on whilst there that we really enjoyed. The hotel is very quiet, there's great access for swimming in the sea, but there are quite a few steps, so bear that in mind if your mobility isn't great. We aren't early risers and didn't put towels on beds but in the My Favorite Club area there was always plenty of sunbeds at any time of day. Pools clean and lovely too. I had a massage from Paola during my stay which was amaaaaaaazzzing! Special mention must be given to Alexander (what a wonderful, charming man who made us feel very special!) and Ioanna at the Fancy Bar who worked so hard every day, made the best mojitos, and was always so friendly! All in all, a great holiday and definitely worth a visit! :)
We had a wonderful stay at AluaSoul Zakynthos. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and always helpful, and the views over the sea were beautiful. The pools were relaxing, the food offered plenty of variety, and the atmosphere was peaceful. It was the perfect adults-only getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Zakynthos.
We have just returned from 10 days at the AluaSoul Zakynthos and have had the most wonderful time! We did not have the ‘my favourite club’ upgrade.
Firstly, let it be known that there are no lifts in the hotel, but there are only ground and first floors. There is also a path down to a rocky beach which is absolutely beautiful for snorkelling but it is steep and doesn’t suit those with low mobility.
The main highlight of this stay was the incredible staff. From the moment we checked in, all staff were so welcoming, friendly and happy to chat to you. The two entertainment staff were friendly and introduced themselves to us and were always asking what activities we wanted to do and what music we wanted playing after the evening entertainment.
Leading on, there was entertainment every evening which I enjoyed, from bands to acrobats. All entertainment was absolutely brilliant but a special shoutout to ‘Remarc Legends Zakynthos’, who performed on a Monday - the best hotel entertainment I have ever seen in my life and even got a standing ovation!
The food was limited but all was so tasty at all meals! Breakfast was especially delicious 😋 The snack bar was handy and we all found the meals to be very tasty.
The À la carte however was a slight disappointment as they had very few of the menu options but staff were all very friendly and this was only for one night so wasn’t a huge issue.
The rooms are nice but slightly outdated. The shower was a bit grimy but it didn’t bother us as the bathroom was generally clean.
The cleaner would sometimes come quite early and would only give you 2 minutes to get out of the room when you have just woken up! 🫠 We also found that we were rushed out of the room by the cleaner at 10am on the day we were leaving when checkout is not until 11am but she did apologise for this.
I would definitely recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over the sea. The views from the hotel are just stunning!
For those looking to book boat trips but have no idea where, like we were! Going left out of the hotel and left again takes you to an ABBA cruises stand, which we found was extremely reasonably priced (we did a turtle island trip for €25) and was the company most of the hotel guests we spoke to used.
Overall, our stay at AluaSoul was positive and we would return!
Location is very remote with hardly any bars or restaurants around it, very out of the way. Hotel itself is actually really nice, room on arrival was poor, but after much persistence managed to get a room like the one I paid for and should have been given in the first place. Not a great start to the holiday. Pool was lovely, snacks and all inclusive buffet was actually really good. Pool area was clean and you could get fresh towels every day for your lounger. Entertainment in the day was non existent, the odd bit of music playing. Activities by pool, there were none! Entertainment and shows that came into the hotel on an evening were actually really good, but when they finished it was a bit boring some night's. A la Carte night was brilliant, food was amazing and ambience was lovely. Views are stunning and sunrise and sunset on the jetty were stunning with the added bonus of turtles. All in all was a lovely holiday x
