Second time I've visited this hotel in 18 months. Quiet location. Small hotel, with great staff and food. It also has a modern and well equipped gym. The rooms are showing some wear and tear, but clean.

This is an honest review that’s factual and not fabricated, it’s neither a recommendation or a condemnation, people’s opinions are different and should always remain that way.

The Good The hotel is fine a bit tired in places but I’ve heard that it’s under new maintenance and an extensive refurbishment is planned in the winter ( I’m sure that will reflect in future prices). The food is fine ,not as varied as in some other hotels but what is available is of a good standard and plentiful. The drinks are ok . All of the staff are great and it would be wrong to single anyone out , they all do a great job. I have mixed thoughts on the MFC club the rooms are great, the views are to die for , however the pools that are accessible in this area are virtually unusable to say they are freezing would be an understatement ! , therefore I’d suggest if you can get it for a reasonable price do it , if not I’d probably steer clear.

The bad Our experience of the fine dining experience was extremely disappointing, the choices on the menu we’re virtually none existent, perhaps we were just unlucky however it shouldn’t happen.

The Ugly This is by no means the hotel’s fault but unfortunately relatively cheap all inclusive, adult only hotels can and do attract certain individuals that just cannot behave themselves and have total disregard for other people, they are in the minority but unfortunately exist , The excessive drinking and loutish behaviour, swearing and shouting at other guests has a negative effect on the vast majority who know how to behave and respect other people. I’m sure it will be pointed out in the managers response that there is a complaints process that can be taken, but honestly the management would have to be blind a deaf not to notice it happening .

We stayed here for 10 days and found most of the staff friendly, attentive and hard workong. Unfortunately, our holiday ended on a very disappointing note. A couple of days before we left, our room safe showed an error and could not ve opened. The day before departure, a maintenance employee opened it for us with a code. We had to be there. I only wanted to take out some euros to tip the barman, but when I checked our money, I discovered £80 and 130euro were missing. Reception apologised but offered no explanation. After speaking to other guests, we learnt that several others had reported money missing from there safes. In over 50 years of travelling, I have never experienced anything like this. It completely overshadowed what had otherwise been an enjoyable holiday.
