DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY BOOKING A JUNIOR SUITE. ! Further to walk, no different to standard rooms in main hotel, no shelves in shower, crude balconies, cheap low divisions so overlooked by next door guests, cheap basic bath with bubbles and algae taps inches neighbours balcony: Room 402 is front centre top with concrete balcony , so no sun!”, And toilet won’t flush poo! The pillows are old and lumpy. The cleaners do a good job so no complaints there.

This is NOT a beach hotel, there’s a 5-6 min walk to the beach ! There’s nothing classy about this hotel, except for ‘Fay’ the new girl on reception, who has a ready smile and a genuine interest in hotel guests. Her immediate boss is the opposite , and sadly her bosses seem mean and squeeze every penny where they can from their hotel guests, yet pay ultra low wages of €5 and €6 per hour to cleaners and restaurant staff- so do remember to tip the lower paid workers there.

Don’t ask the hotel to order you a taxi for the 7 min transfer from the airport for €25. Find your own for €15 tops. Take your own pool towels as hotel charge €10 deposit and €3 for every clean exchange: they want €25 for their old fashioned key room safe: try negotiate by email before you go, but don’t trust Katie the manager to keep her word . The Greek and Phillipino staff are what make this hotel, as they are warm, friendly and helpful. The high star reviews are only because of these staff.

The restaurant food is varied, but many ppl complained that the food is not hot enough, and that the meat is very chewy . The chef needs to cook on a lower heat maybe for a little longer and be aware of the temperatures in the serving dishes. The chips don’t have a lid and were always only barely warm. The deserts at lunch and dinner are only cream cakes or fruit. No gateaux, no imagination or inspiration used. Having said that- they were always quickly grabbed each mealtime, and the staff were trained to be careful not to put too much out. The booze- is cheap copy 2nd rate alcohol. Nothing genuine. The beer was constantly complained about, and the wine was cheap table wine. The bar staff do their best to keep guests happy, but the cocktails just can’t taste the same using orange and lime cordial, and 2nd rate spirits! So ‘fully inclusive’ means we ended up going out to drink decent alcahol. Such a pity ! The pool is cold, but because the sun was so hot, it still had plenty of people in there. Don’t expect to stay in your room longer if you have a late flight. On requesting, I was told there was no availability, but if I would pay €50 for a few more hours- then there would be one available! Then on the morning of the day we left (at 6pm) I was told that our room was booked out to new ppl.- followed by a fake Katie hug saying she’d miss us and she wish she could have helped us! So we had to use a dingy toilet with shower and no chair before we left.

Two days later my friendly room neighbour informed me that our room had been left empty for two days until the new occupants of room 402 arrived! Now that I find sneaky, dishonest and given that we had booked directly with the hotel ( not thru Jet2), meant they saved paying Jet 2 commission - yet had upgraded both of our neighbours A free upgrade!

So NO we definitely would not recommend staying in their junior suite, or paying for fully inclusive because it simply is not worth it!

PS. Directly opposite the hotel gates are a number of mostly thin stray cats. ( see piccie) Please take plenty of meat and fish if you can, just put in a bowl and cover. Only short distance from restaurant ! Thank you.

A really nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Christine. She made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!
