A stone’s throw away from a beautiful beach, and the Zakynthos Airport Dionysios Solomos is only 19.6 km, around 31 minutes by car. The hotel offers modern, spacious rooms and has been described as a true gem by guests. The hotel comprises of a spacious lounge with satellite TV and relaxing music, is open 24 hours. The bar with the swimming pool offers all day relaxing sunbathing, and refreshing cocktails, and finally the restaurant, with the sunny patio, where dinner is served, all prepared from the kitchen of the hotel. For the guests travelling by car, the hotel offers spacious parking. The air conditioned rooms are modern, have a private bathroom with a hair dryer and toiletries.

The hotel is located about 400 m from the beach, there is no beach of its own, 2 sunbeds + umbrella + toilet + Wi-Fi cost 15 euros. The room is spacious, there is a balcony. But the hotel is located so that the sea is not visible. There is a large and children's pool, a jacuzzi. In this area, sunbeds and umbrellas are free. We took HB, but dinner was from the menu... The portions are small, the choice is only between fish and meat... Water and bread in the dinner are for money. It was unexpected for us that it was not a buffet... The tour operator JoinUp himself did not know about such a dinner and did not warn us. But we managed to agree to increase the portions... The island itself is very beautiful, but you have to take hotels either in the north or in the south. There are all the beauties. Here the sea is gentle, good for children.

superb!
Stayed here for 10 days, returning home 2 days ago. I cannot fault this lovely hotel from the minute we arrived until we left. The Reception staff were happy and helpful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and kept clean everyday if you so wished towels and bedding changed every couple of days. The breakfast was fantastic, so much choice, hot and cold, there was even porridge !!! The pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbeds and nice gardens. The walk to the beach and restaurants/bars was less than a 10 mins walk. I don't usually recommend hotels but will make the exception for this one.

First Class Hotel, First Class Staff
Wonderful hotel. Everything for us was perfect , a lovely large room with beautiful views of the mountains and countryside, nice and quiet. Everywhere was spotless, the quality breakfast choices were amazing, spacious pool areas, a lovely relaxing hotel, The hotel is in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The staff were ALL superb and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou to Manager Alessandro who allocated us a beautiful room. A Special mention to Ruth on reception, a real Star, always there to help and she had such a lovely smile that greeted you every morning. Thankyou ALL for helping to make our holiday just perfect , see you next year to be sure

Koukounaria hotel and suites
So pleased we stayed at the Koukounaria hotel. From check in and throughout the staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast staff and set up was really impressive. Pool staff friendly and efficient, housekeeping also do a wonderful job. Reception is always ready with a warm greeting. I highly recommend this as a destination.
