This is an environmentally-friendly hotel that cares greatly about sustainable growth that has a unique approach to hospitality located in Agios Sostis in Laganas Bay. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the 9 km sandy beach, one of the longest in the Mediterranean, and perfect for exploring the rest of Zakynthos. The place is also conveniently located for the town shopping centre (500 m.) and just 6 km from the airport.
The friendly staff will help guests to hire bicycles or rent a car to see the protected nesting turtles and visit the beautiful landscapes of this, the 3rd largest Ionian island. Otherwise visitors can just sit and relax by the pool and enjoy cold drinks and snacks. A home-made breakfast is provided with freshly-baked bread and cakes, free-range eggs, oranges and plenty of olive oil. Guest's special events are celebrated with a free bottle of wine.

Idyllic and beautiful place to stay
Absolutely incredible!
The whole hotel is fillers with a happy and calm atmosphere. Even though they were in peak season, it never seemed too busy.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly and attentive team (Spiros deserves a special mention here for always making us feel welcome!). Our room was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor terrace and pool. Likewise, we absolutely loved the food on offer (and the all inclusive drinks were very lovely too!) There was a good range of entertainment across the evenings, and sitting poolside under the stars listening to excellent live music was magical.
In terms of location, you are within walking distance of the harbour and the beachfront so you can explore the rest of the beautiful island.
We are so glad we went for our 10th anniversary— it was the perfect place to stay.
Warm and cozy hotel with delicious food
It was a very nice hotel, with a super helpful team. The moment you walk in you are warmly greeted by the owner and staff. They are all very kind and open to any question. It was far enough from the center to not hear the evening noises but close enough so you can easily walk to the center. The hotel and room were very clean. If you wanted they cleaned your room every day, you could hang up a sign if you didn't want it for a day. The only downside is that you hear all the noice from the hallway in your room. Luckily once everyone was in their room, you couldn't hear much, so that was nice. The food was delicious! A lot of variety and for everyone something. My boyfriend is a difficult eater and had something every meal that pleased him. Overal a very good stay!
Lovely entertaining boutique hotel
Castelli was a beautiful experience. The hotel location is great, as you have the craziness of Laganas in one direction a short walk away, and a quiet beautiful beach 5 mins in the other direction. The entertainment was interesting and varied in the evenings, whilst Delphine, the entertainment organiser was excellent, I did Pilates in the olive groves most mornings, water aerobics, and we joined her for a walk to see the turtles, she even taught me how to weave! Husband and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
Better than 5 star
Perfect location. Close enough to walk into Laganas without the party disturbance. Close to restaurants, bars, beaches, Cameo island and the harbour. A warm and friendly hotel. Where nothing is too much trouble for the hard working Reception staff. Truly your home from home. Adults only hotel. Normally couples. But be aware during high season there is a high percentage of younger "party people" who can cause disturbance if you are looking for peace and quiet. Rooms are roomy, plenty of hanging space. Maybe a little more drawer space would be useful. Bathrooms are compact wet rooms. We have no issues with this but some do. Everywhere is spotless. Keeping with the green ethos, towels are changed on request. Hung on the door, use again. On the floor, towels changed. Bedding changed weekly, unless requested. Pool towels are available on request. Small pool area with plenty of sunbeds. However this year we experienced " towel gate". People putting towels on beds then leaving for 3 or 4 hours. Not really respecting other guests. Breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks. Amazing choice and plentiful. Bars are staffed by amazing people. Happy to serve you drinks and again the choice is very good. Value for money. 10/10. In our view this hotel rates Excellent. A true family hotel with exceptional staff. Special thanks to Mr Spiros, Irene, Fotini and all the amazing team for their hard work. Great two weeks stay at Castelli
Quiet location.. 15 minutes walk to the strip of Laganas. Relaxed atmosphere and chilled vibes. Great for couples of all ages 18 - 90. If you want a party hotel go somewhere else, as loud rude behaviour will not be tolerated. The hotel is run with a family atmosphere. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to make your stay special. The rooms are spotlessly clean and air conditioned. On the small side but adequate. The bathroom is a wet room but dries quickly. The food is very good. I'm fussy but always found something nice to eat. Always a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The entertainment differs to cater for all tastes. The swimming pool area is clean and on our first week there was no rushing to get sunbeds. 2nd week different clientele and a few were taking sunbeds but not using them for hours. But on the whole I would definitely go back and would recommend this lovely little oasis.
