Just got back from my first time in Santorini having stayed in this little gem of a hotel. It is located just a 5 - 10 minute walk from restaurants, shops and bars and a really good supermarket. The rooms are a traditional greek style but are absolutely immaculate, the windows and patio doors had built in shutters and were brilliant for keeping the rooms quiet and cool, the room had a kettle and a full size fridge, free mini safe and also 3 usb and 3 type C charging points by the beds so no need to keep unplugging and charging your items 1 at a time. The air conditioning was excellent and free and the shower was excellent with plenty of pressure and hot water.The beds and pillows were really comfortable too. The pool area is excellent and the beds are great quality and comfortable and the grounds are really well kept. This is a small family run hotel with 14 rooms and the staff are really friendly and can't do enough to help and make you feel welcome, it felt like staying in your own private villa. Having looked at the prices to stay at some of the places with a sunset view a 10 minute walk away (3 or 4 times the price we paid here) and no privacy from thousands of people walking the paths above you.....I would highly recommend staying here and watching the sunrise from the privacy of your balcony.

0/5 Stars – Avoid This Hotel I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Anessis Hotel Santorini to book elsewhere. During our stay, approximately €500 was stolen from our room. The only individuals who had access to the room during that period were members of the hotel’s housekeeping staff. When we reported the incident, the hotel owner and receptionist showed little concern, carried out no meaningful investigation, and accepted no responsibility for what had occurred. What was most disappointing was not only the theft itself, but the hotel management’s complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and support. Despite reporting the loss of a significant amount of money, our concerns were dismissed and handled with indifference. Guests should be able to feel confident that their belongings are safe in their hotel room. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. If you value your security, personal possessions, and basic standards of customer service, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had, and we would never return.
